His comment about "struggling with granulation" reminded me of the tribulations faced by our old friend, EmmaLake.
I caught an update from EmmaLake when he commented on a Not_Michelle_Obama_ post (Sisterhood of the Botched Junk).

Did we catch that Dr. Sidhbh Gallagher threatened to take Emma to court?
"In their zest to scare me the threatened me with jury trial!! A jury trial for a restraining order so I wouldn't contact her patients or her colleaques when she was gone. First of all. I'm the last person in the world she would want to drag in to court. I would have brought every shred of evidence for the judge and JURY to see first hand."

thread regular Dr. Sidhbh Gallagher just appeared on I Am Jazz offering Jazz an "internship" and told her they're looking "for 'trans representation in the office".
IMG_9428.jpg
Sidhbh gave him a physical exam and said everything looked ok- and didn't recommend another surgery. If the creator of EmmaLake's new anatomy is satisfied, I'm sure everything is going A-OK for Jazz. Pay no attention to the hundred pound weight gain.

All he'd have to do is pull down his pants in the courtroom, the sight and smell would be so horrific the jury would be insane to not convict.

Jesus Christ, ONLY 19 years old! A clearly mentally unstable young woman was allowed to have her sex organs removed because of a crazy identity in her head. Therapy was never an option. It goes straight to genital multilation. Absolutely horrifying! 😨

No one gave a shit about the fact that people change as they get older. Instead it's assumed that she will think in 60 years like she does now and that she won't ever regret her choice. People change their minds all the damn time but apparently not about genital butchery. The gender madness has gone way too far!

As tragic as this is, these crazy gender obsessed freaks are always screaming that they need to get butchered NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW or they 41% themselves. What happens to them is wrong but they are still responsible for their own suffering. Sure they are mentally ill but it's still their own choice to get butchered and demand butchering asap.

I know it's plastic surgery, and it's TV, etc, but can you imagine having a doctor with an Instagram like that and those long-ass flat-ironed extensions? Like, seriously? There's something so creepy about her whole schtick, even beyond the obvious "butcher of the mentally ill" part.

wait, I thought that usually the neovaginas are placed higher than the real ones? why is this one "too low"? does this person have a non standard stink ditch or did I get something wrong about troon biology?

Late, but I made a post about neovaginal placement being "too low" here. I think what you mean by "too high" is that neovulvas tend to sit too far up on the pubic mound; what people mean by "too low" is that the hole itself often sits below the labia entirely (see my linked post for examples), rather than positioned between them. @twattycake helpfully explained why this might be such a common feature here.

Chunky_pickle [previous update here] will do anything and endure everything, all for the sake of standing-to-pee. Truly an inspiration!
(Those baby ftms complaining about "bottom growth pain" have a lot to learn! lol)
👏
She's really dedicated to torturing her clitoris until it magically transforms into a true & honest penis. Testosterone abuse, endless surgeries, and daily regimens of "manual traction exercises" and pumping - these will surely work! Just look at how much progress she's made! :)

"my Wolverine suspensory ligaments regenerated twice now and are actively pulling my penis inwards"
Her body is desperately fighting back against these unnatural changes, but Chunky_pickle won't let that stop her! Just keep slicing and ripping away - beat it into submission!

She just got her fourth surgery the other day, no pictures (yet) though. This one was to try and fix her fistula problems (she's the three-stream pee girl, if you remember). She's optimistic about it, but we'll see how it pans out. She also still has two more surgeries to go, assuming nothing goes wrong.

I swear, so many troons are just painfully stupid. 🤦‍♀️
Aww it looks like she's growing a little baby alien.
Throwsawayfortacos is an MTF who got his stinkditch installed almost 5 years ago... and it didn't go so well.

Where did it all go wrong? He explains in an update a few years later:

tl;dr He didn't know at the time, but he has Ehlers–Danlos syndrome, which (among other things) makes your skin thin and stretchy. During one of his post-op dilation sessions, he accidentally "dilated" through a tear in his perineum instead of his neovagina, and his carelessness + EDS turned it into the disaster you see above.

Because of his condition and in order to let the major wound dehiscence heal, he ended up losing most of his neovaginal depth.

About a year later, he went in for another surgery to make his neovulva more aesthetic and to remove some granulation and excess erectile tissue:

Just a couple days ago, he went in for a revision:

If I could give this guy any advice, it would be to quit while he's ahead. Continually going under the knife to remove granulation tissue never seems to work with these stinkditches.
Any scar he gets, inside or outside, is going to stretch out and/or deform or otherwise act unusually. Literally one of the things they look for in an initial EDS check is unusual scars.

He just keeps getting himself cut up hoping for better results as if he can make his body produce normal collagen through the power of trans. And the surgeons just keep taking his money.

If standing to pee is such a feat for them wait till they hear about pissing contests. Are you really a real boy if you've never competed with your fellow lads to see who can pee the farthest?
but...they get to 'void' in front of a doctor who clinically measures how much is leaking from their fauxscrotum, and how much is just stuck inside, poisoning their kidneys.
if thats not an olympic tier, professionalised pissing contest...

Pissing Contest, post Crying Game.
Perhaps that film is what inspired Dr Gallager as a child <3

"The average age of the Nullfied troon Was 19..
(none of them received An Hero's welcome)"

:optimistic: but there are surgeons in this field that will tell someone they're a poor candidate for a procedure and turn them away, right? If only because melty scar tissue will look bad in their portfolio.
But knowing what gets counted as a success (:_(

Does EDS affect tissue during the surgery, or is collagen not enough of a factor then for it to matter?

They do turn troons away...if they are morbidly obese and...

...if they are batshit insane, raging monsters like our friend Ripley here. Dude was turned down by several srs butchers (he wanted the srs technique were the dick stays intact but the balls get turned into a stinkditch) because he is just too much a tard for them (!).

He achieved something that only a few troons achieve - getting rejected by srs butchers and boy is he mad about it.

Ripley needs to do his research, because there's quite a few places around the country that do this abomination. And it's hilariously stupid looking, and just a complete butchery on retarded people who think they can be the anime hentai girl who has a dick and vagina.

they won't do it for him, though.

Why does every other troon seem to have Ehlers-Danlos. I don't know anything about it, but that fact alone makes me think it's one of those diseases that are so vague as to be basically a useless diagnosis.

There are different types and we don't know which type he has, but at least some types can cause fuckups during surgery. Look at what happened to this poor guy who just got a colonoscopy:

Vascular/Type IV EDS is the one that's most likely to make you drop dead (seriously, people just drop dead in young adulthood or middle age of massive hemorrhages, it's a shitty genetic hand to be dealt) and it has the strongest recommendations against doing any non-necessary surgery. I want to tell myself that he doesn't have that type, simply because people keep operating on him. Then again, there was a guy in this thread who had Marfan syndrome and a missing bladder and his surgeon still agreed to do SRS on him, so who the hell knows.

"I don't know anything about it but rather than spending 30 seconds reading a few paragraphs, I have decided to tell everyone it's a useless diagnosis before wiping drool off my keyboard"

Maybe it's some kind of comorbidity.
If you have missed my repetitive sperging in this thread: it is often comorbid with autism. Enough said, really.

Ravioli lives on NEET bucks like most troons, so he has to get his futa surgery within his insurance’s network. He got rejected by only 3 surgeons that accepts cali Medicaid.

Munchies like to have hEDS because it's a clinical diagnosis that can be faked or even self diagnosed. Troons and munchies have a lot in common when you think about it -- the need for attention and validation, the drive to get unnecessary procedures -- feeding toobs and picc lines for munchies, hormones and genital mutilation for grooms, and a ccomplete resistance to mental health therapy.

This ends in things like Chris-chan and Vampire Kelly. It's slow suicide, but suicide just the same.

Building on this, Medicaid generally pays less for a given procedure than private insurance so most SRS doctors take cash or private insurance only. This is in contrast with hospitals which generally do take Medicaid (I don't know why but suspect some of the other perks that come with taking Medicaid make up for the lower payments).

The ones who do take Medicaid tend to be really spread out - the only way to make up for the lower payment per surgery is sheer volume, and the easiest way to guarantee that is to be the only butcher in 100 miles who accepts Medicaid. This is how Kathy "Butcher of Ardmore" Rumer is still in business - she is the only SRS surgeon in the entire state of Pennsylvania who accepts Medicaid, which makes her the only provider Pennsylvania residents on Medicaid can get.

Why is Medicaid covering futa surgeries ??
Because California law will cover literally anything which a doctor deems "gender affirming".. This section of California's insurance laws includes "a gender different from the gender assigned at birth" and "neither male nor female" as protected categories under the law forbidding anti-trans discrimination in healthcare while this pamphlet from the state Medicaid website states that hormones and butchery are covered. It's absolutely insane but if Ripley can find a therapist willing to recommend him for futa surgery and a surgeon willing to perform it, California is obligated to cover it.

TT Exulansic (who lives in California by sheer coincidence) has a running gag in one of her videos where whenever the TiF she is covering mentions another taxpayer-funded surgery, she responds by noting truly lifesaving or life-improving treatments that most insurances will not cover. And now I've made myself depressed.

EDIT: To clarify how most hospitals will take Medicaid but some doctors will not.

Transbucket user Gaga236 [previous update here] was very unsatisfied with her original RFF phalloplasty, so she went in for a re-do (an MLD phalloplasty this time) with a different surgeon.

Nice elephant trunk, "bro"!

He really despises the first surgeon he went to - Dr. Daverio.

Which is reasonable, since Dr. Paul Daverio is an infamous German surgeon who's been butchering women since 1995 and offers to do truly insane stuff that no one else will do. Like his "all-in-one" Frau-zu-Mann surgery where he'll do a double mastectomy + hysterectomy + phalloplasty + vaginectomy + urethral lengthening + nerve hookup... all in a single surgery.

Unrelated to the above, but Dr. Deschamps-Braly (the FFS surgeon we were discussing earlier) uploaded what he calls a "short documentary" to his youtube channel. It's actually just a 10-minute advertisement glorifying himself, lol.
wow Did you guys know he studied under famous surgeons in France and Switzerland?? ~so fancy~ wow

Someone posted it to reddit, but I don't think they got the reception they were expecting...
