One of the most full of shit transphobic notions is this phenomenon of transtrending, as if anybody would choose to openly identify as something that is automatically going to get hated on. What we are witnessing is the emergence of the first generation of happy trans kids and reasonably well adjusted trans adults thanks to actions of pediatricians in the 90's who realized how much harm conversion therapy is causing. There was an explosion of people like myself, coming out of the closet or post ops out of decades of stealth between 2010 and 2020 to stand with the families and really assert our presence in our communities.
