What's the evidence for this? He would have been "using" Machinima's account because they were the ones who actually paid him during the 7 years he was with them.

Machinima dumped dozens of people on their network. The racist shit didn't help, but just like Twitch, they didn't suddenly realize Phil had racist shit on his channel and can him. They were losing money hand over first and needed to dump liabilities like Phil.

The original story around machinima dropping Phil was all about money. According to Phil, he was seeing a massive dip in ad revenue and couldn't see why, so asked machinima to investigate. They couldn't give him an answer quickly enough for him (and likely because all he wanted was money to shut up about it) so he kept pushing machinima.

Eventually Phil claimed that he was trying to reach someone higher at machinima, but was told to only use the log system they used. He told them to escalate it to management or he wanted out.

I'm sure with based people like Piece of Peace around it wouldn't even be hard for this person to find out how much he does make in a year if he's not just messing with Phil.

I'm also glad to see that he brought out the business expenses as his shield. That's great, we haven't heard much about them since the bankruptcy.
Since then, Phil has started using gamepass so he has bought next to no new games at full price, has begged for game credit to cover the games that he had to pay full price for, has accepted all of his new equipment in the form of gifts, and has genuinely cut his already inflated $5k in expenses down to nothing. And yet here he is, insinuating it eats the majority of his $10k monthly income.

I'm sure the business related microtransactions that formed a majority of these expenses before have somehow scaled to match the decline in all other business expenses though. Damn this modern gaming industry and its predatory practices.

It would only be rude to ask about salary in a social setting, which this is not. If people are donating money to keep your business afloat, the least you can do is not be a dickhead and assure them their money is not being wasted. If any of his fans had brains, they would realize the grift, but as they say "a fool and his money are soon parted".

BTW Piece of Peace's tips tracker is amazing, he already compiles his month by month net revenue, hes on pace to make 120k+/year since twitch booted him. Even if an absurd 1/2 goes to current taxes/back taxes, not being able to turn a profit on 60k streaming video games is seriously pathetic.

When listening to Phil talk about Halo Infinite, I have never heard a streamer be as entitled as him, ever. "I'm having fun, so why the fuck aren't you paying me more?"

If anything he does gets me real tophat. Its this. The only time, literally the only time I have ever given money on the internet to a streamer (and they were free bits) was when they did impressive shit. I have made a friend dance for pennies. In the sense that I told him Id give him my last 50 bits if he could like beat a level untouched. Fucker did it too after like an hour. We still talk about that clear. But like thats how tips work dammit. Exceptional service. Hell, Ill even tip for satisfactory service (I have been there. I know how it be). And thats what kills me the most

It's better to not think about why as you'd go down the rabbit hole of questions of "who could enjoy his streams with constant begging and berating" and then "who could enjoy his low effort, low skill, uncharismatic, disgusting (snorting, burping) content in the first place". I guess I can understand (barely) watching Phil back in the day when there weren't a lot of other options out there but the fact that he has any kind of audience to grift these days in something I'll never be able to comprehend. The thing I wrestle with the most these days is how much of his own bullshit he truly believes.

Considering how irresponsible they seem to be with money, one day their tugboat inheritance insurance payout allowance money will eventually not be enough and they’ll look back and wonder why they squandered it on a streamer who wasn’t even thankful they did.

What business expenses? I see literal children or teens on Twitch or YouTube that do what Phil does, yet have better quality and a far nicer setup while making far less money. The "Streaming business" is a joke because there are almost no expenses. You can be poor and do it, you will just slightly bump your electricity bill and that's bloody it. He's a bloody con artist, but people that give him money are bloody idiots aswell.
