I've heard this concept from a few left-leaning types in the last few months. I truly have no idea where it comes from. Is it a human right to have food and water, and as you said, not be killed and eaten? Yes. But is it a human right to "feel safe"? Well, no. How could it be? First of all, no one on the planet feels safe, because no one actually is safe! There's always some kind of danger or risk right around the corner. Even those of extreme privilege know they can only put so much distance between themselves and whatever threatens them. And if, for some reason, you do feel 100% safe 100% of the time, it's only a false sense of security, because there is something out there than can do you harm, if you give it the opportunity. So if "feeling safe" is a human right, it's literally nothing more than the right to lie to yourself.
Darwin would like a word with those people...

But really... no. Making the decision to have sex with someone, or not, is always your own prerogative. You don't owe a sex partner the same open-mindedness you should show a job applicant or a new neighbor. You have no obligation to any one person or groups of people in that regard.

Pretty much this.

If Mr. Happy isn't happy tough shit. It isn't happening.

Tl;Dr: if you don't want to date someone because they are trans, you are a transphobe, but if you don't want to have sex with someone with a vagina, no matter the gender, you are not transphobic

And why the fuck would you date someone you have no intention of ever having sex with?

That's leading them on.

Well, asexuals do exist. Many of them are capable of romantic feelings even if they don't want to fuck anybody. But I don't think I've ever seen a relationship between an asexual and a person who desires sexual intimacy go right, even when both partners are upfront and willing to compromise. The whole sexual intimacy thing is a very wide gap in expectations.

How could a government even make sure someone feels a certain way?

Should governments be forcing everyone to take anxiety drugs?

What the fuck does that even mean

According to Labelle she's saying that although some trans people say they were "born in the wrong body", not all transpeople feel that way or think that way.

Apparently.

If someone is asexual then they wouldn't be dating anyone. Sexual orientation isn't just about who you would stick your dick in.

The whole idea of gender/sex dysphoria is being in the wrong body. Without that, there is no concept of transgenderism. But what did I expect from someone who uses the term "gender smoothie" seriously.

That's Tumblr nonsense, and you sort of defeat your own argument.

Hence why I deleted that post because someone already said what I said, and if I were to argue my case using real life examples it'd be powerlevel-y as fuck and I'd more than likely get nowhere.

Back on topic: This is what intrigues me about Labelle. Her views are a little skewered.

I wonder how Sophie feels about the other "Trans" people this site talks about, since she supports self-diagnosis, she must support them.

They're comradx in the fight against shitlord transmisogyny.

Or, in her words, "other trans people".

Notice she doesn't mention we talk about non trans people plenty.

But I guess it's only bullying if done to trans people! :c

Since Demi Lavato is past puberty, I'd think he wouldn't have any interest in her.
Serious post: There's a type of pedophilia where the person is attracted to people their own age as well as children. They tend to have age-appropriate relationships for the most part, but regress to children in times of stress. I forget what it's called though. James claims he's had partners his age and older, so maybe he's one of those. Doesn't make him any less abhorrent, but that may be why he's all "I'm not a pedo!".

That makes it entirely worse.

Did anyone do anything productive with his dox we supplied?

Or did this thread just go back to ineffective whining?
I called the police over there, they told me to email information. I got an email back stating they were looking into the matter but couldn't release whether or not they've had previously contacted him. He's also not on the sex offenders registry. I messaged his friends via Facebook; no reply

He's never been charged with anything, so he's not gonna be on the registry. Since his victim's dad was also molesting her, her parents hushed the matter up so their dirty laundry wouldn't get aired. As far as we can tell, he has no real life friends, so his Facebook friends are a dead end.
