Let's go through our options here...
>Kamala
Absolute non-starter. Kamala supporters don't exist outside of Twitter and you can't convince me otherwise.
>Buttigieg
Blacks and Hispanics don't like the idea of voting for a gay white guy. If he is the nominee it will result in even more minority voters flaking off. Republicans can also bring up the paternity leave stunt and emphasize how supply shortages brought the economic recovery to a halt under Buttigieg's watch.
>Warren
She was always a fringe option (like all other progressive candidates in the primary) and things haven't been going her way in government lately. Both of her picks for the Federal Reserve - Comrade Omarova and Lael Brainard - were both given the thumbs down by her fellow Democrats. And remember the Pocahontas shit?
>Klobuchar
Well, if Biden doesn't die before 2024 and the Democrats want a woman president for real this time... they could do worse than Klobuchar. One problem with Klobuchar though, which could resurface after a hypothetical nomination, is that she abuses her staff. I'd probably have more things to critique her about if I could remember anything about Klobuchar from the 2020 primary, which I don't.
>Cooper
Who? Okay but seriously, I have long thought that the Democratic Party might resort to nominating a Governor because they have no other candidates left.
>Landrieu
As with Cooper, his name is uh... not well-known on the national stage. Which is the problem with a lot of these potential nominees - a lot of Americans haven't heard of these people. Trump is the polar opposite.
>Raimondo
If the DNC gets to the stage of nominating a random fucko like "Gina Raimondo" they might as well just not run a candidate at all in 2024. There's no law saying they have to participate in the election, you know...
>Whitmer
Lol. She fucked up the Covid response in Michigan bad.
>Murphy
Nah nah nah nah. Murphy needs to stay in New Jersey. He needs to keep his seat so the Dems can keep that incumbency advantage, otherwise Ciattarelli might actually beat his Lieutenant Governor in 2025.
>Pritzker
Remember Mike fucking Bloomberg shit for brains??? You can spend all the money you want on your campaign, but if you're a corrupt (which he definitely is, it's Illinois) rich asshole nobody will like you.
>Abrams
You... what? So either Abrams would be asked to resign early from being Governor to run for President - and recall she's spent years grifting about that Governor seat - or she would be asked to run for President even though she's been beat twice by Republicans in a blue state. Not happening.
Okay so tl;dr this list is shit and everyone on it is either bad for various reasons or is a nobody who would simply be unable to compete with Trump for attention. Newsom isn't on this list but if he ran for President and got nominated the landslide would be fucking historical.
