See now that could almost work. I mean, the IRS is going to come down hard on him with proving out everything with receipts and stuff but theoretically it might work. You are allowed up to a $15,000 a year exemption for gifts that don't fall into gift taxes, and then he would have to sell it to his business as a related party transaction, which has funky rules. I am not particularly well versed in the sole proprietorship and related party transactions that would take place so I am not sure if there was a way to do that so I couldn't say its impossible. But I can say Phil has no fucking clue how it could be done and if there is a way, Phil wouldn't do it correctly

My theory is if people are actually 'donating', he is asking for the receipt so he can claim it too.

I sort of agree. But he seems to have lost a bunch of the 50 bit bitches and have become even more dependent on the whales.

Interestingly, Phil refused to send the tweet tonight and got extremely upset that people were spamming his chat with 'send the tweet'. He threatened to ban them and then didn't tweet.
I haven't seen this since earlier in the year when he started refusing to send tweets, calling them unecessary.
The only way to push Phil towards not doing something is to tell him to do it. The temptation to be a contrarian is extremely strong.

I figured out once on a twitter sock that if you shit on him or even tell him he's wrong and don't want to get banned, just call him out on how he's going to ban you, took a good 3 months till he banned me in a gin induced twitter rage.

I'm honest surprised that he didn't mention these songs costing his video to get claimed.
