SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

I like SCP, but I'm more of a casual consoomer, who watches Youtube videos. DrBob and Detective Void have pretty fun channels dedicated to SCP.
And I also prefer older, more simple SCP entries. Newer ones are getting more and more excessive and overbloated. Just give me a shitty peanut that snaps peoples necks, when they look away. That's enough.

The Exploring Series is the best SCP YouTuber because he doesn’t actually read the articles word-for-word, and actually bothers to explain some of the background.

Yeah, he is also good, when you are interested in some deep dives with +30 minute videos. TheVolgon is another great one. He does read off the entries a lot, but his audio production quality is off the charts.

I like to put on a video by him as background noise when doing stuff like art or whatever, he actually made me interested in a nu-SCP (SCP-6820) without me having to read massive blocks of text.

The video where TheVolgun and Internet Historian teamed up to look at some SCP-related content was pretty great.

Yeah, there's a lot of nu-SCP (like 6280, lmao) that I don't feel like reading myself, but am perfectly willing to listen to a 30 minute video explaining all the references I didn't get because I'm not an autist who lives and breathes retarded SCP lore.

I read every word of that shitshow that is 6820 and my conclusion is they did their best to ruin 682 and pretty much succeeded. My God that writing is horrible, just dump more jargon and nonsense into this word salad
I'm not even going to poison my mind with anything past 3xxx.

I'm pretty much the same, there is a decent amount of good SCPs in the 1001-3999, but 001-999 has more good stuff than all the rest combined and it isn't close
And the current degenerates running the place want to destroy all the triple digit SCPs on top of that, because of problematic whatever.

I'm not willing to read all that garbage, what's the deal with it and why is it so bad?
6820 is some kind of retarded weapon from an alternate dimension or something that operates on incoherent made up scientific principles to destroy 6820-A which might be 682 but might not be because a reality reconstruction event happened which warped 6280's AI or something and created 6820-A. Or something. Then there's some more gobbledygook about 6820-A also being an OS member in disguise or some bullshit. Then they do a bunch of technobabble to 6820 to access its full code or some shit so they can control it. Or something. This of course all fails and 6820-A is not destroyed but instead we end up with a reboot of the original interview with 682 (it's 6820-A being interviewed) about the disgusting farmers it killed.

Also 682 is apparently some kind of tulpa thing. Or it has tulpa-like interactions with its environment specifically the thoughts of members of the SCP foundation. Look it's all retarded okay I'm doing my best here.

Trust me what I just wrote is FAR more coherent than the SCP entry itself and I skipped the exhaustive and stupid description of 6820 and its abilities or whatever. These people writing this shit are retards.

That sounds absolutely horrible.

SCP-682 is so popular due to how simple and effective it is. It's essentially the Hulk / Doomsday. Super strong, super angry, can regenerate from pretty much anything and adapt to everything. How do you stop such a thing? You don't. The (perfect) end.
I can additionally appreciate short and simple theories like SCP-682 interacting with SCP-001 (the Gate Guardian) and being revealed as the serpent, who convinced Eve to eat the apple. Or SCP-053 (The Young Girl) being Death and SCP-682 being her steed.

But what you summarized, sounds like something someone wrote, who deserves a slap or two.

Still dunno what any of that means, but I'll just take your word for it.

I honestly never liked 682 that much, honestly. Mainly because it has to show up in every other SCP entry and just exists to be the top dog that no one can properly defeat. It being the Serpent from the Bible doesn't even make sense given how its normal disposition is just to destroy everything it sees.

You're not supposed to know what any of that means, total confusion is the point of SCPs anymore.

You don't wanna go into the deep lore of 682. One of the awful little short stories they have is the Maker (God, I guess) creates a bunch of fucking furries and gives them near-God powers and assigns them the task of creating new life (or something), including humans. They all live in Eden. Well 682 is a lazy whiny bitch serpent furry who reeeees that no one can tell him what to do, he takes credit for others' work, etc. He gets humans to eat the apple which fucks up the Big Plans of the Furry Elite and they're afraid it will piss the Maker off (surprise, it does!). So King Furry beats 682 up and condemns him to immortality without invincibility and always being pursued and imprisoned by humans who will always unsuccessfully try to kill 682 in ways that will cause great pain and anguish to 682.

The Maker makes the furries immortal but not invincible too so they can feel pain and hunger etc. just like 682 because they gotta get punished too for some reason. No matter how shitty their condition gets or how much damage they take they can never die. The furries rebel, only a few remain loyal to the Maker, but the rebels get BTFO and have to leave Eden.

So 682 is ultimately responsible for there being furries in the world I guess.

Gouge my eyes out for having read this garbage.
