True, but all I’m saying is that it really speaks volumes that Florida and to an extent Texas has managed to make their COVID cases go down tremendously in almost two years.

How is it that state governors in those respective states can try to stop the spread in a dramatic way, yet Washington, D.C. is still the end-all, be-all on how they need to offer more “stark warnings”?

Democrat or Republican, this is just the new administration’s way of playing politics with actual people’s lives, and Biden has been seen on record not even following his own mask mandates in the past.

But that's the thing. It's not just people who are unvaccinated for personal reasons. It also includes plenty of people who might want to get vaccinated but can't get vaccinated for a myriad of reasons. They literally do not have have a choice and the Biden administration is abandoning them. That's on another level entirely.

Mentioned it in the Covid mega-thread, but the Supreme Court will have a hard time ignoring this given it's a federal mandate. There's no guarantee of a win, but considering it follows in the footsteps of the CDC's eviction overreach, don't write this off just yet. Far too many moving parts at this stage to make any accurate predictions.
