I didn't suggest a dry and serious tone. I suggest focusing on matters of interest to the SFWA members. By all means, spice it up and be funny. But focus on something they will care about, or it's just masturbation.

And I'm not suggesting tearing apart that organization. I'm suggesting setting them against Patrick. If you really like to see him flail, that's much better than playing into his narcissism and his belief that there is a giant conspiracy of alt-right chads out to get him.
