It should be noted that Geenstijl also has fairly stringent moderation policies when it comes to commenting. The editors themselves often push the envelope when it comes to irreverent journalism, but they've banned people and baleeted comments because they were too edgy, insulting or just because they used VPNs. I'm not sure if they do it out of fear of some legal culpability, or of its in-house policy aimed at culling fedposters and trolls.

One thing that's possibly concerning is that the Dutch government is currently in the process of turning doxing into a de jure crime. It's fairly vaguely-described legislation that seeks to ban the sharing of personal information aimed at 'intimidating, harassing and obstructing the careers' of those being targeted. Journos and whistleblowers are exempt. The law specifically mentions cops and other public servants as people it aims to protect, but, worryingly, the article also states that the law could make it easier for private parties to appeal ISPs to remove 'illegitimate' content.

In regards to Italy, if you have any ancestry within a certain amount of generations (If you had great grandparents who were citizens) you can get dual citizenship there. Not sure if things like that can help any with banking.

If your non-white heritage is Italian then you can became an Italian citizen if that helps you. Italy allows dual citizenship. The process is called Jure Sanguinis which is latin for “right of blood”

I cannot. Someone randomly doxed my entire family for the purposes of a genealogical study and they determined I was not eligible for Italian citizenship because my great grandparents had renounced citizenship from the Kingdom of Italy and that disqualifies me.
