If she knew she was going to win she would have shown up regardless. I think the ongoing health issue is the constant misery she's feeling at knowing she can only hope to be a "Youtuber".
And in that, the only thing she can even take confort in was that she managed to shed her old Channel Awesome persona and the viewpoints she made back then.

Considering that her PBS gig is over soon and her authoring gig died in the crib, Wine Aunt has no other choice but to come crawling back to YouTube.
