There was a description of ethan when his sumons was returned, but that's not even necessary. When Dean was served, they gave it to his dad.

Let's give Preston the benefit of the doubt for the moment that his servers served Vikki and either served her in time somehow or the court overlooks the time issue. What does Vikki gain by lying about not being served?

She could go perjure herself in court about it to try to get out of the judgment, but that seems like a risky move for a defamation case Preston probably wouldn't win in the first place.

The plot thickens, I guess. Personally I'm willing to go on record saying that if Preston is right and Vikki was actually served, I'll let Preston's ex peg me in the ass.

My personal opinion is that his goal is to troll people he hates with the court system. As we've all seen with Null, the legal system is almost intentionally designed to allow this. From the eye of a guy who likes watching lolsuits but isn't a lawyer, it seems as if doing things the wrong way and forcing your enemy to respond racks up more billable hours than doing them the right way, and opens them up to proper service and dawwwwxxxxssssing in the future because dismissals for fucking up service usually aren't with prejudice.

But if you do get pegged you're obligated to film and upload it.

True enough, I've seen the Discord screen caps were he says as much. He really lost it when the pegging videos were posted here.

Does anybody have a copies of those screencaps? It would serve to prove the point that if he's dumb enough to think Null is in the US, of course he's dumb enough to not know what part of the country Vikki is in. Null, much like Vikki, has broadcast where he lives (maybe not with specificity, but we know the country/region).

Honestly though, it's disappointing how Preston apparently reads KF, but doesn't seem to absorb any of the inforation on it. If he did, those two might have a pretty funny tard fight for us to witness. It never ceases to amaze me how two inconsequential people can get into a slap fight over which of the two is more inconsequential.

It's a shame Rekieta only addressed half the issue. I'm genuinely confused as to how Preston gets a default order if he exceeded the time limits to deliver service to Vikki (REGARDLESS of whether it was the right or wrong Vikki)

I got an inquiry in with a lawyer who is a IRL friend, and who I worked for, but she's on vacation ATM. I'll post here if I hear anything back.

It's not gonna make a lick of difference in this case, but I wanna know why the time limitations in Rule 4(m) were just simply ignored. It's one of those "not knowing is irritating" sort of things.

Dean can't use a public defender. It's a civil tort. He could only get one if he were indigent and his liberty were at stake (criminal, mental health, probate, etc).

If he couldn't hire a lawyer, what I think he should have done is gone to the public library, or used Google, or used the many other available free resources to figure out how to format a response. It's not THAT fucking hard. Spectre doesn't know anything more than Dean. Spectre is a retard that pretends he's things he's not.

For a bunch of wanna-be legal & lolcow experts I find it so hilarious how you guys in here decide to simp for a 50 year old dog groomer & completely ignore other lawsuits that you cheered on that were very similar to this case. Cases that include defendants that were being maliciously prosecuted ( which you cheered on). defendants that were not properly served nor served on time, yet case continued despite of this. The amount of cognitive dissonance is laughable. The least you could do is be consistent. And if you think you are some legal autist, you aren’t paying attention to shit. It doesn’t matter if she wasn’t personally served or if time elapsed, you aren’t paying attention. It doesn’t matter who is lying. No one in the clerks office is paying attention nor do they care. Vikki was stupid for not addressing the situation head on like an adult. You can’t just ignore this. It doesn’t matter how stupid the plaintiff is. Honestly serves her right for being a shit talking liar looking to start drama.
