His supporters have forgiven Trump for holding contrary positions many times and I expect no less in 2024. No surprise there.

I'm expected to get a shot before Jan 1st or I will lose my job, the principal of the school I work at left a voicemail on my phone yesterday asking me to upload proof.
I don't know if it's by design or an accident but the type of tyranny that NZ is practicing is working so well because the masses that get the 1st/2nd/3rd (soon to be 4th) jab can mostly do the things that their lives revolve around - shopping and eating out, they just need to show their papers and wear a mask. If you allow the masses to keep living their consumer lives then they will happily keep complying. This is why we desperately need faith and tradition to come back.

Acknowledge that the vaccine researched and largely produced under Trump is effective at preventing severe illnesses or death while acknowledging that it's a personal choice to get vaccinated.
Say that with Omicron that most everyone will catch it and given data from South Africa that has a worse health infrastructure and more at risk populace, the outcome was largely minor. Say that you trust your fellow Americans to make the choice they feel is best and if they have questions to ask their doctor then reassure them that the government is up to the challenge to deal with persons that need hospital care.
