So I was talking to some old ladies at church and they love to overshare about medical issues, God bless em. This got me thinking:
Like many people, I once assumed that troons acting coy about whether or not they'd had SRS yet was because few want to describe their genitals and medical issues to a prying stranger, duh.
Then once I learned that many never get the surgery at all, I thought, "aha, they don't want to reveal their surgical status because they're insecure about people believing they're truly trans."
Obviously, in reality these people love to talk about and (over)share anything and everything and are proud of their paraphilias and increasingly bold about it, so that isn't the problem. It is now apparent that they don't want to tell because
- They like to shame other people and have the upper hand in any conversation. Troons who dm'd you their dirty diapers on twitter 5 minutes ago will suddenly clutch their pearls if it means putting you on the spot.
- They still have their dicks and want you to suck them
- They had the chop but do not want to open any avenue of conversation about it whatsoever because they really really do not want to talk about the disgusting maintenance and reality of it
i dunno, while what you're saying is certainly true for some of them, i feel like there will be a section of them who just genuinely dont want thier business all over. Probaly the sort who eye-roll about the rest of the stuff the loud horrible TRA's who make them look like idiots every single day and have made them going into a public loo suddenly a big deal when it previously wasnt.
its a certain type of troon who puts it about on show- observably, more AGPs than HSTs
thankfully (for them and thier own medical state) less troons get the op, which is good.
that article that was posted yesterday , long form piece from the journalist- said initially she'd found a lot of trans discussion spaces online pointedly didnt want to talk about it at all, directed her elsewhere, and that there's even a big TIF magazine called Original Plumbing.
I dont know if demographics or changing, and its becoming increasing seen as the natural progression due to the proliferation over social media, and med insurance companies 'catching up'/driving demand..
or if we just happen to see more of that because...well, this sub is about it.

though we know that TT Ex is detrans herself, she's also a speech therapist isnt she?
I wonder if the combination of experiencing it herself, an possibly having a lot of trans kids/people for vocal training come trough the door might have tipped her into her current action?
She seems to have kind of popped out of nowhere. I'm very interested in her, she's knowledgable af on a lot of things. I just wonder how long before she gets some real life career flak, if she hasnt already, for her videos as she's starting to get booted from websites and a big boost in awareness of her channel at the moment.
