Kent had admit to his viewers that he never lived in the projects and that he comes from a somewhat wealth family. How wealthy? We're not sure but it appears he has enough wealth to live a comfortable, middle class lifestyle where he can fund his hat collection, constantly buy new clothes, and get the latest gadgets off of his parents' dime. We also know the city that he lives in, and it looks to be a middle-class to working-class city where his family's money would go much farther than in an expensive area, like the Bay Area.
