Seeing how hysterical Bob and his family got over COVID was enough to tell you that they're all NPCs. God I could not imagine having an annual rewatch of, I am not sure what to call Bob's video. Like its not a critique. I can rewatch a lot of RLM videos. Or Yahtzee. I started watching Moviebob years ago when I saw the Spider-Man really that good video. I wont lie, I liked it because I really like the Raimi movies and even enjoy the 3rd one. (Though I never quite got why he needed to go all political for the last 10 min of that video). The next one I saw was the "really that good" of independence day which is another movie I liked, but even than it was jarring to me that he spends 10% of the video just shitting on The X-Files. IMO Coffin has been a way bigger cow than his thread length indicates. For a while I tried to keep Coffin's thread up to date, but in the end I had to give up for two reasons. First, I have become almost physically sick of his intellectual posturing and slimy obfuscation. To untangle his lies and point out his hypocrisy required just too much mental effort. By comparison, Bobby's naked hatred seemed refreshing, almost salubrious. Second, there was just too little engagement in that thread: people only paid attention when his Realdoll of a wife came into the picture; they simply weren't bothered by his big fake commie talks like I did. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - Zack Snyder strikes me as a "Garbage In-Garbage Out" kind of director. He has an interesting style and if you give him a decent script, he'll turn out a fairly decent movie. If you give him the script for something like Batman v Superman, you'll get a movie like Batman v Superman.
He always focuses on visual spectacle, and more obnoxiously on "references." The latter is something that's really gotten bad in a lot of modern movies, with stuff being there for no reason other than for audience members to go "I know what that is! I clapped! I clapped when I saw it!."
