He isn't playing it with mods (yet another decision that makes it obvious that he isn't taking his situation seriously because literally no one else on Earth would think there's a point to playing that game without mods ten years after its release), so it'll be slightly longer-lived than Morrowind, since the game will hold his hand by itself to an extent.

I wouldn't be surprised if he plays it for half a year. I don't remember the earlier Yakuza games but he played Yakuza 7 for 4 months and he's still playing Lost Judgment and that game came out 3 and a half months ago. He'll find a way to stall the shit out of it and Skyrim is a pretty massive game with lots of side khantent. I'm comparing Skyrim to those games in this estimate because Skyrim is more of a straight up action game like Judgment than the earlier TES games in terms of how complex the RPG mechanics are.
