I'm just glad when I see Jasper because it's another day the poor little guy wasn't left to die or thrown in a dumpster, which will be the inevitable end. How sad that the main reasons Jasper is in the Snort Fort is 1) begging and scamming for $2,000 and 2) the only visible proof that suggests Katherine remains in said Snort Fort.

Yeah, that quote (and how full of yourself do you have to be unironically quote YOURSELF?) is another example of Phil not appreciating how lucky he is that The Incident is what he's most widely known for, because it could be SOOOOOO much worse.

And what's even worse is that in the event some other lore eclipses it, Phil will just turn to bitching about that instead, or act like it's still The Incident that's most widespread because the alternative is more embarrassing. He is determined to go to his grave never learning a damn thing.

Don't forget the fact that Phil is probably still shook from the reaction to him pretending that Jasper has a UTI for pitybux. For all his posturing, for all his stubbornness, for all his refusal to admit being in the wrong, it is absolutely possible to put some real fear into him, and people definitely did it after that disgusting attempt at a grift. It takes a lot to send the message that something is a no-no, but it can be done, and when it is, holy shit does Phil's charade crumble to pieces.
