Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Troon stuff, anytime it appears in public, is roundly rejected if dealing in any way with kids and even the general acceptance is seeing sharp declines in acceptance. They quickly realised that the average Latino is, at best, a socially conservative Christian who leans to the left economically and, at worst, a Cuban exile who fucking hates anything vaguely red and very quickly decided that was a bad assumption to make.

And shortly thereafter, they declared that Latinos were not a monolith like *ahem* black people were.

The problem for those up top was that they made a bad call that is hard to undo. The entire system is interesting, but also has some clear points of failure.

Step 1: Academia comes up with a stupid idea, as far left as it can manage based on current views.
Step 2: This idea is leaked to the proles on central nexuses like Twitter who disseminate it at their most liberal level.
Step 3: It's picked up by a bunch of low-level operatives who then pass it among the less liberal people to gauge reaction.
Step 4: If the reaction is positive or neutral, pass it along to higher operatives who either quash it or push it forward into the mainstream.
Step 5: Utilize for all the political worth it can bring.

Step 4 is the final and biggest quality control event. Also the point of no return. If it passes 4, there is no putting the genie back in the bottle.


Latinx is a case of this, where it was a bad call that's been hurting them ever since.

It's similar to what I've called Overton engineering. Also seen it called "The Frame Game," but that's not quite the same thing.

I see two obvious problems.

The proles can occasionally get uppity. They don't know why some tactics or ideas work, they just know that they work. So a tactic that's pushed down to them can be outright abused if the wokies figure out how to do it without having constraints. For a good example of this, look at the slow slide of language as calling everyone racist/nazi/fascist has slowly blunted those rhetorical weapons. I'm not sure where they're going to go after people stop caring or outright start mocking the left for calling people Fascist like they mock them for calling everyone Nazi. "Reactionary?" "Capitalist?" Hell, I would suspect MeToo was one of these weapons that got overused and overplayed by low level activists that don't see the big picture.

It's also very, very vulnerable to troll ops. "Operation Okkk," where the wokies were tricked into believing the OK symbol is a hate sign. Freebleeding, where the wokies were tricked into bleeding into their granny panties for feminism. That sort of thing.

I expect more and more troll ops to continue provided the left's golem doesn't start losing power over culture and the like, until they are tricked into embracing something absolutely untennable. Even now, no one believes the OK symbol means "white power" but everyone's terrified of telling them they're fucking idiots.

I don't know Jared Schmeck personally but I am one person away from him through a whole bunch of people. So I don't know *for sure* that he is a typical southern OR person but all of his behavior is totally consistent with what they're like. They're really hard to explain. The place they live is their whole world and they never leave, which makes them sound like regular hicks, except then they will, like, go to Dubai.

He's not backing down because he wasn't making a stand in the first place. These people have no politics generally. The federal government is far away and not very important to them.

Soon as they cause issues with the people who actually do a little work, even badly, they tend to realize the troons aren't doing anything but causing problems and ignore them when it actually comes down to stuff.
