The horse claims to be 5'8 which has some unfortunate implications for Ralph's 5'10 or whatever he was claiming. Man has to put on his boots AND she has to bend just to not look shorter than him. According to my detailed research (googled "how much height do timberlands add") they can add up to 2 inches. If Meigh is really 5'8 than I would guess Ralph is about 5'4. That said I'm not any good at eyeballing distance and I have no idea how much her posture would affect her height.

His ankles aren't that fat, you only get that bulge on such a huge upper by installing several inches of heel lift. He's on his tippy toes with the top of his foot pressed against the tongue.
