It's like the frame rate is somewhere between 30 and 60 and it's pretty off-putting. Everything also has a slight red tint to it.
Glad he got it set up, but the quality honestly isn't that different than before. Still no 1080p somehow.

Josh's old computer would normally output 15fps, which then got frame duplicated up to 30fps simply for compatibility reasons I guess. So the frames would look like AABBCCDD, effectively still being 15fps. If his computer was feeling up to the challenge it would output a true 30fps (ABCD) but that was rare.
Currently on his new computer his frame rate is set to a true 24fps which it seems to be managing fine. 24fps is standard for motion pictures.

If he's using a wood lathe inside a apartment i'm a bit shocked that its not worse.
If you look at that video you can see what perperation needs to be done if your using one in a enclosed workshop, let alone a living room (also please ignore Rex and his shiny head, he's the only carpenter I know who's shown how to set up and use a wood lathe that I can think of off the top of my head).
