At least James and Jessie were somewhat likeable and entertaining.

This is an excellent point. We like to shit on Kat (as we should, she still married him) but if you consider the amount of stuff she does wrong, according to Phil who duct tapes shit to the ceiling and eats noodles with a spoon, I'm more inclined to believe that she wasn't even there when any of those things happened. Whether she's still living there, who knows. But I highly doubt she was part of the vacuum breaking, the shower breaking, the dinner being ruined etc. I totally sign up to the idea that that was all Phil. If any of these things even happened to begin with.
He couldn't have gotten any lower than his sanctimonious insult rants about what he considers low wage menial workers while she works the exact same type of job.
wtf are his tweets about it's so schizo there's no context at all about it
It's his springboard to YET AGAIN cry (must be a streaming day) about how he feels he's been allegedly wronged.

Yeah exactly, Phil is already at rock bottom, at least when it comes to having any dignity whatsoever or being a functional member of society. He depends off the generosity and pity of others to survive. Its pathetic and he knows he's stuck in this situation. Its just constant cope and jealousy towards everyone else who isn't also stuck in his situation.

He's such a strong and courageous person for booting up video games and asking for money every day.
Nah, he's nowhere near rock bottom. Yet.

One more quick thought on this topic- ten years ago Phil had videos that could get over 100,000 views, now he struggles to get 1,000.

You're right though Phil, you've never been canceled. Its a perfectly normal career trajectory to retain less than 1% of your fans after more than a decade.
See.......out in the real business world, you are told that a 10% return on advertising is great! lol

Never say that, every time we think he is at the lowest we think he can be, he will always prove us wrong. If you told anyone in 2016 that he would lie about having a mental illness for sympathy and justify being a piece of shit, they wouldn't believe you. If you told them that 6 months after breaking up with panda he'd be flying a woman across the country while pretending to be a broke bachelor, they wouldn't believe you. If you told them that he would lie about his parents' health to pay for a trip to CT and then get married while he's going on about being unable to pay his taxes, they wouldn't have believed you. Hell if you told me that he would make $200 a day (the vest streak) while he was declaring bankruptcy before it happened, I wouldn't have believed it. Phil never gives up because he has no stopping point of "maybe this might be a shitty thing to do". He'll just do it and not think about how bad he looks.

i love how he brags about how his situation will never change, he is incapable of getting help or improving and that he will always be out here panhandling no matter what happens. everybody knows dude. thats the joke
There are few things about DSP that delight me more than the fact he thinks it's a good thing he's never changed. You're 40 years old and still the same person you were at 20 because you 'stayed true' to yourself or whatever? And your content is still the same, so you haven't evolved at all as an entertainer or professional? Why are you bragging about that?

Looks like Phil is starting Level 1 over again.

Why is a guy who's been on youtube for over 12 years and has close to 200k subs so focused on growing his comment section now?
Wants to get in to that SuperThanks shit YouTube is hawking now. In short, people can give Phil money via comments on old videos. So it would be a (potential) revenue stream that is effectively hidden, so he could still cry poor on stream. The two questions are 1) would it be an actual significant amount and 2) would the people doing it be doing it in lieu of tipping or in addition to it? Because if it's in lieu of tipping, then Phil has to weigh the ego drain of low public-facing tip totals.

Actually, his content has changed. It's gotten so much worse, to the point of being only one step above literally unwatchable. Plus he at least TRIED to be unironically entertaining in the past.

Forgot to mention also, besides the fact he calls his nonsense babbling a "podcast", even if it was a legitimate, constructive pre-game discussion, it still wouldn't be a podcast.

A podcast is, very specifically, an audio file that is published to a subscription service that podcast apps can download. They're typically heavily edited because polish and a proper audio experience are paramount. It's not you rambling on a video game stream. Also, 99.999% of podcasts are absolutely free to listen to. (There are certain well-regarded podcasts that have paid releases, like Hardcore History, but he put out something like 12 hours of well-researched content on World War 1 and sells the whole batch for 15 dollars). So having DSP beg and grift and expect money for his 'podcast' is even more of an insult to people who actually put time, effort, and work into producing genuinely good podcast content.

Yeah, even when he claims these things, he's lying. But he's lying to brag about something he shouldn't be proud of.

The whole thing isn't going to go nearly as well as he thinks it will if he even gets it at all. Hard to pin down what the criteria for it is as people I thought would have it do not.
