Hasan Piker / HasanAbi - Young Turk, Twitch Streamer, Stunlocked Brogressive, Cenk's Nephew, only a socialist for the money

I've heard that Hasan got a 7-day ban, while fellow left-wing streamer Vaush got an indefinite ban, even though Hasan was the only one insultingly calling people crackers. I wouldn't be surprised if Vaush eventually got unbanned since he was just discussing the topic, not actually insulting people as far as I know.
Vaush went further than that. He said that "cracker" is a racist slur and that people should admit to being racist and keep doing it. He had this bizarre freedom of speech argument going where he argued racism against whites should be allowed to not infringe on other people's rights or something like that. You might be able to find the clips in his own thread, I only saw a few segments.

I meant what drives that societally. I've had irl Turkish friends and they looked wildly different despite all being from Istanbul. Shit, Hasan looks like a hairy Gayreek but his uncle looks like a sweaty Pajeet/Persian mix.
Turks today are a mix of the native Anatolian peoples, Greek settlers, slave popularions from all over Europe, africa, and the near east, Turkic nomads, and eastern European slaves captured by the ottomans for their harems, and that's not getting into all the circassians and Balkan Muslim slavs who immigrated into the Ottoman heartland during the 19th century and were turkified during the Kemal era. with an admixture like that you're going to get a lot of weird variations.

There's also the Ottoman nobility which got thoroughly bleached through decades of trying to get closer to their western neighbors

Why are Breadtubers all a bunch of fucking retards? Vaush, Hasan, Shoe, etc. They all have the collective IQ of a toadstool, yet they have an audience. I don't get it.

Same way that most of the notable online "critics" of yesterday got big.

They either got involved early enough to network and obtain notoriety via those leading the charge at the time, had good enough internet to rapid fire unfiltered bullshit opinions or seemingly had more money than sense to splash out on such a niche hobby. Rewind the clock by a decade and you get the same nonsense with say TGWTG, Normal Boots and other "collective" groups online. Not everyone gets to maintain relevance and the pie is slowly consumed by those around you.

Because you have to be a brainlet to be a breadtuber and unironically believe in all the stupid bullshit that goes with it. Unfortunately, there are millions of brainlets out there who believe this stupid bullshit because they are even stupider.

So, twofad is railing against him on twitter is the most surreal thing I have seen all year. This year has been the year of shit Hassan takes (although to be fair, he is only filled with bad takes).
I don't speak Schizo Zoomer, can someone explain what the fuck he's trying to say?

When even a man that’s been on record pranking people with Zoom calls and mocking K-pop music consistently gets mad, that’s how you know that he’s not playing around.

This is a lot of word salad for someone that has no idea how airports, or modern business guidelines, work.
