I think you're right because Jaron was one of the first-ever kids to be raised as the opposite sex and probably the first to get it because of "dysphoria" rather than a botched circumcision. I think modern day Mengeles are generally more subtle than that. And, yes, I do remember that I'm on a thread remarking on a television show about a young boy whose genitals and potential sex response have been publicly dissected since he was a small child. But I still think that they've gotten a bit more sophisticated in how they express their most Mengelish (it's a word! I'm making it one!) inclinations.
