Investigations/stings/crackdowns need to be handled correctly and they need to take into account the rights of the perpetrators otherwise the perps can get off even if they violate some criminal code. Now you've got some utter moron running around Bakersfield putting up flyers basically calling Bryant a pedophile, which only helps him should he pursue some kind of legal retaliation. For these and a dozen other reasons, the cops probably won't pursue this. If I'm wrong, whatever, but we've seen situations like these play out dozens of times.
