I think the issue is the people you're responding to are literal teenagers who genuinely don't understand that feminism is not some internet movement created during GamerGate but a longstanding political movement fighting for actual, tangible rights (since the 19th century in the States) and combatting against actual violence, not against being misgendered and manufacturing entitlement to manufactured "rights."

But in case these are just dumb kids and not trolls, I'll indulge them for two seconds. They need to understand that "feminism" is an increasingly meaningless umbrella term for all kinds of ideologies, some of which are contradictory. There's no spokesperson of feminism to claim what "real" feminism is and what it's not. Now that there's money to be made, young people have been hit over the head with intersectional feminism. And it's pretty obvious women aren't running the show anymore because now with new woke feminism it means feminism is cool for guys and being a slut is awesome and degrading yourself for money is empowering. Magazines for teen girls and young women are running articles about how to prepare for anal sex now and stupid moids have the gall to call this a man-hating ideology lolol. It's not women benefitting from this.

And there is a rift because these ideas do not align with most stuff from the second wave of feminism (from your grandma's time). You can get as autistic as you want with the terminology, but this is basically your old school feminism and where the radfems come from (radical meaning "root", not extreme). These are the man-hating harpies and bulldykes you are actually intending to insult, but it's not our fault we were sold out to make money off of troons consuming the movement.

It was funny at first to see sanders squirm, and have a panicked look in his eye. But seeing coercion and predatory tactics happen in real time make me have (some) sympathy towards sanders.
