This is a pet peeve of mine, but people seem to be confusing "running gag" with "excellent post."

A lot of the jokes in the ADF subforum are getting old as well, IMO.
On the other hand, if other people find it funny who am I to judge? I still laugh whenever Dynastia posts "I hope Phil gets raped and murdered in prison" even though it's been done a million times.

Also, I just want to say raising report awareness is probably useful. I used to just scroll past shitty posts but after hearing some mods say there weren't enough people reporting I started reporting more shitty posts, which I hope is somewhat helpful.

Jokes are fine when done in a proper context. Dynastia knows when to use the "rape and murdered in prison" joke because he often does it first so the iron is metaphorically still hot. Scrolling through the same joke used nine times in the past three pages is fatiguing.

On the subject of reporting, even if you aren't totally sure if it's reportable or not, report the post anyways, worst that can happen is it gets rejected. There aren't very many reports in community watch and it's a big help when we get one to help us clean the place up a bit. Even if it's just a double post, report it and it'll get merged.

Or it's more that at this point any attempt to bring up counterpoints in threads inhabited by either side here is met with the equivalent of screeching and hissing where you're accused of taking a counterpoint just to rile people up instead of an actual argument.
