Kazakhstan unrest and future of the country - Protests erupt around ex Soviet country over fuel prices.

Looks like we are getting some 'Little Green Men' in 2022 after all...
Yeah, on January 6 (of all days) and in Kazakhstan (of all places), where no one expected it. What are you doing, Clown World, stahp. The honking is killing me.
States plunged into anarchy are breeding grounds for crime syndicates and terrorist organizations; unless the russian government is going to directly profit or net some benefit by leaving a country they share a massive border with in a state of absolute anarchy for who knows how long they have every reason to intervene and reestablish order. Look at how many issue's the drug cartels cause for amercians, the only reason Mexico is left to stew as a den of criminals is because organs of the United States facilitate its continuation and profit from it.
Bet you half a dollar the US will use it as an excuse to pile up more sanctions and wank itself bloody raw as it screams about the murderous Russkie hordes reinstating the USSR one country at a time? It's already happening on Reddit.

Fuck this gay Earth, I want to move to a different globe. The one with sensible people.

Internet has reappeared in KZ. However i think this Russian journalist covers it better on the ground.

so are these "poor educated regionalists" or Naibiru glow op, Turkey trained spetsnaz?

I'd go for a simpler explanation. Be Kazakh male 18-30. No matter how hard you work or how much you study, your country is keep sliding in powerty. The same ruling family mafia for 40 years. There is no opportunity to work or build family. All protests and opposition are silenced by force. This is while your homeland sits on some of the richest resources. With protests escalating, there is safety and anonymity of the crowd. You have a chance to lash out all the pent up rage of wasted life and prospects or go back to cage.

If you cant recognize obvious propaganda like this then I fear for how you manage to get up in the morning let alone brush your teeth.

That looks like Varlamov outlet. Everyone has agenda in this. Sometimes not obvious. Info warfare is also in full swing, I bet Russian trolls are in overdrive trying to keep up. At least poor faggots will get paid their thirty drops of cum.

It's really kinda sad just how little coverage this is getting in the states. CNN especially is going full hog on "Remember January 6th!" instead of focusing on a major geopolitical destabilizing event.

As I said in the January 6th thread a year ago. The insurrection is going to be used as a cudgel by the far left for decades. The "Jan 6th committee" is going to be political as all hell and used to suppress political opposition and expressly target people.

All while Russia and China continue to make major moves on the world stage. It's the embodiment of clown world.

Not that sanctions are all that effective, but I don't see a problem making life of a commie who has been ruling for 40 years miserable.

Let Russki stay in Russki-land (whatever that is) and let Kazah figure that shit out themselves. Russki volunteer on contract to pay for mortgage or lack of work in Russki land. Instead making his Russki land better, he goes to shit into someone else's land. That's why Russki neighbors love that fucking country so much, for producing fucking walking fertilizer.

Yes, and they orchestrated it so that they could justify these sanctions.

In schizo news: Russian boomers are accusing Ukraine of sending paratroopers to the Kazakh-Russia border to stir up shit

yeah, so far we got Poland (of all countries to blame), Ukraine, Turkey ... this is what totalitarian states do, they claim to be surrounded by enemies and wage endless war to keep their slaves busy and not paying attention about economy or that they are robbed blind.

Kazah elite already took off to Swiss Eurojewland, let them stay there. Kazah army and police didn't fight its people, so now foreign countries need to intervene to save the ruling family.

Sweet baby Jesus on a pogo stick, can we PLEASE NOT?! Pretty please with a Chistmas-themed Baikonur cosmodrome on top?! Let dear neighbors sort their own shit out for once, I don't want my taxes to be spent fixing their monkeyshines... AGAIN. They aren't exactly grateful after we do, anyway.

Here's a delifghtful little anecdote from our family history, as related by my grandmother. She was a teacher.

Back in the days of good old USSR, education was free, but there was a catch: you had to pay for it by working wherever the Party sends you to. They simply didn't give you your graduation papers and diploma, they mailed it to wherever you were supposed to work and expected you to pick them up in Nowhere, Bumfuckinstan.

She was appointed as a teacher to some godforsaken aul in Stalin knows where. To say she was shocked when she arrived is a mild understatement: the "students" in her "school" had their heads crawling with lice.

The first thing she did was teach them wash ther hair and get rid of the parasites. A child's father came to school the very next day and hit her to the face with a stick so hard he broke her jaw.

Why? Because she "had washed off her son's wits".

My vatnik dad monitors Russian state media 24/7 on current situation in Kazakhstan and can't shut up about it. I'm tired of listening how ungrateful Kazakhs want Maidan 2.0 and their country will turn to shit unless glourious Russians intervene. God, when Xmas holidays will end?

Russian Ministry of Defense officially declares Kazakh violence "Foreign sponsored".
I'm curious what they think about this one time when when Russia backed Yanukovich during OG Maidan (not the 2014 one, the first one)... Sure it wasn't an intervention because it was done by good guys, right?

Anecdotes are fun. My grandma remembered Holodomor and how peasants were begging for food in the cities. Regardless of how some nations may be backwards, I look at history and I look at my family and my own experience and I will always believe even a Chechen more than a Russian.

YOU are a worthless peasant and a cog in the machine, who substitutes their own worthlessness by belonging to a collective. You should change your avatar to Chairman Yang.

"What you do". Hmph. Insectoid.

The problem with Internet is that people argue with voices in their own heads. I never condoned the politics of the USSR and am actively arguing against Russian interference in the affairs of neighboring republics, but there you go.

My advice to you is to go outside and touch grass... Or snow, whatever. I know I will.

Back to the subject of Kazakhstan: what is suprising is a complete absence of comments from another major player in the region, namely China. Their much-touted "Belt and Road initiative" is going though Kazakhstan and the country falls into their projected sphere of influence according to the Chinese officials, but I am not aware of any statements they'd make to secure their investments. Please let me know if I missed any, because this genuinely puzzles me.
