Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

Let me get this straight - Our MC went from unscrupulous gun for hire to Lawrence of Tatooine, to Borsalino gangster, to a crime lord that doesn't actually do crime. And all this in a span of 2 episodes. Who thought this was a good idea? This is enough plot for a whole series and it's thrown at the viewer in annoying flashbacks, cause we need to get to the member-berries. Beer-Belly Fett escapes the sarlac and then.... he found Jesus and swore off his dastardly ways. Why do you want your main character, the guy who the entire series is build around, to not be interesting Filoni?
Its like when they made a bounty hunter show that doesn't bounty hunt and instead spends his time babysitting... Also since Filoni gave all of Boba's old post-OT character traits to Disney's Mandalorian, that left Boba with being just a massively awkward cuck with weirdly inconsistent character writing. And the helmet, armor and the near silence were what people liked most about him and what does Filoni do? Have him barely wear the helmet, give his armor a gay repaint and have him babble like an idiot all the time.
Because he's going to copy the interesting stuff that Boba Fett went through in the Expanded Universe and give it to his Mandalorian OC instead.
If the rest of the leaks for Book of Bob are true, which I'm sure they are, that's pretty much confirmed. Gotta prop up the Disney OC more so they don't have to give George as many royalties...

Anyway, all these Doctor Aphra/Shadow the Chewbacca screaming and crying reactions on youtube and the "queer" tubers showing of the Doctor Aphra tattoos on their arms is making me lose my already minuscule faith in man.

I know the answer is "because slapping Boba Fett on the title of a spinoff prints money", but I really don't see why from a storytelling standpoint they couldn't have just kept Boba as a recurring character in the Mandalorian.

Pedro Pascal’s schedule was another reason for making a spin-off as he was filming for HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us, and Disney wanted a Star Wars show to take up the slot that would have gone to The Mandalorian season 3.

Every time she says notChewbacca's name it just sounds dumber.

Did these people not try to say the names outloud before writing them down?

Oh shit, yo, hell yeah! - white ubernerd

Still not as cringy as the Deepfake Luke reactions with 35-year-old men weeping and clutching each other like they'd just witnessed Christ rise from the grave.

From the flashbacks to the present, the Boba Fett show is all stories we've seen before in other things, and not pulled off well. All the Tusken stuff is so by the book predictable guy becoming part of tribe story. The Tuskens aren't even interesting or different, sadly. Present day Fett is so unlikeable, incompetent, and pathetic. And why is he so dead-set on suddenly wanting to be a crimelord? Why is anyone supposed to care about any of this shit? I hope the show takes a sharp turn into anything else, but I expect the whole season will predictably meander on.

Not gonna lie, I had some vapors for a minute or two when that happened. It didn't last long because he was surrounded by shit. But it was an emotional minute minute and a half.

Amusing. So Dave just wanted to try and do Dances with Wolves fanfiction but with a character that the most autistic of consoomers obsess over and to pretend he's smart weeb references to pretend he watched Kurosawa. God what a wolfaboo faggot.
So in other words, he's a Star Wars fan fiction writer. Having his OCs be part of the main story, rewriting the plot to be a bit more "adult", and adding in references to other media to appear to be knowledgeable about the inspirations of Star Wars.

Naww, I've read better Star Wars fanfiction than Dave. Dave's much more incompetent and samey.

It sounds like they're saying "Black Chrysanthemum" or some other weird mess. The reactions to this feel so surreal. Like they didn't actually know who this is, so they had to look it up on wookieepedo first before making the video so they could make sure their viewers think their true UwU disney wars fans with pride. Only one that feels realistic is the last one. Its like the reaction videos for when Chuck Wendig's OC first appeared and everyone started acting excited over "OHMIGOSH its Cobe Varnish from Chuck Wendig's Aftermath trilogy! Buy it now!"

Maybe, but its still pretty cringe to get a tattoo of a horribly written lesbo nobody knows about whose only notable trait is that she's a lesbo who cucked Vader and Luke.

After watching this in full, I find his need to split up pre-90s Boba and post-90s Boba to be odd, since the differences between the two weren't that apparent outside of a few select media, like clone Boba's need to take off the helmet more often in comics unlike his past self, and the Jaster retcon which was pretty easy to gloss over, and he omits several bits of key-info like the fall of the BH guild and ignoring that Boba's abandoned family lines up with his lore and characterization from his 90s self, and that many pieces of post-prequel media still portrayed Fett much the same outside of Traviss stuff, TFU and BFII. Aside from the extra-emphasis on mando and clone wank in post-90s Boba, most Boba stories were still faithful to the old version for the most part outside of shit like TCW, scholastic shit and the Traviss characterizations, and these inconsistent portrayals could've been addressed at the end of the video separately for people to think about and consider personally rather than falsely claim alternate timeline/hallucination shenanigans. And TCW aka Filoni Wars as it stands is not even EU ("Legends") or even G-canon material, being that it was even set in its own continuity rank that didn't fall under G-Canon or anything else. He also uses the images and the "sand digging" explanation from Boba's escape in Disney rather than his explosive jetpack exit (along with a lot of wookieepedo images) which really raises a lot of eyebrows about the video.

Another thing I find odd about the video is how he ends it by pointing out that his desire to split the two versions of Boba is because he says 90s Boba's conservative views don't line up with him having had a family for some reason despite him having a family he was forced to abandon making perfect sense and adding to the logic behind his obsession with celibacy and respect for marriage, that and Saintmillion admits that another reason for why he split the video is because Boba's lack of a mentioned family in the 90s supposedly validates his headcanon about Boba being secretly gay for Han which has zero basis other than Boba growing a begrudging respect for Han, and I think is the second time he's done something like this in his videos where he seems really fond of characters being secretly gay for some reason and thinking that somehow adds to their cool factor for some reason... Of all the reasons to hate dislike the prequels, this is by far the most flimsiest. And the fact that he excludes 80s guide books and the Holiday Special makes his decision here even more bizarre, and all just to have Boba and Han possibly secretly fuck. Just sounds like yaoi shipper logic.

Overall, I'm disappointed with his work in this video.
And I thought the Holiday Special was the lowest point in Boba Fett’s history.
Before Disney, I'd say his lowest point was in TFU or when the Droids cartoon didn't allow him to use a gun. Otherwise I'd say the Holiday Special's animated segment did a great job of portraying him like a merciless and manipulative merc.

Edit:

Also I found the only youtuber who's actually criticizing Book of Bob and recognized the plagiarisms.
Her voice is a bit Geeky Sparkles-tier though.
