She won't be able to do anything, her NCOs will need to pick up the slack. They'll pick up the slack to save their own asses and get the mission done but her reputation will go even lower, if that is possible. The point is these people this lost in the ideology are complete lost causes until they are betrayed by the system they advocate for, in which they outlived their usefulness like Yuri Bezmanov stated and will be first in line to face the wall.

God forbid a SOF candidate feel bullied or harassed. Why, she might self-eliminate again and then a bunch of field grade officers would have to scramble to bring her back. Since she's too cool for SMUs, I propose the creation of a new tier just for her and operators like her: Tier Zero, America's elite force for developing novel joint special operations retention and shamming tactics, techniques, and procedures. When America needs a low-profile counter-bullying force capable of deploying anywhere in the world as long as the billeting meets Air Force officer standards, they stand or possibly sit or maybe they're taking a nap ready to answer the call.

It's a powerful motivator, especially when the entire field seems to be colluding to prevent any actual choice for the people.
The problem is, all that's on offer is the top-down imposition of various flavours of authoritarianism. Trump included. No candidate has said "I'll leave you alone". No politician in any country in the West is saying this, but instead they're all singing about how people need to atone for imagined sins and accept the thin gruel they're demanded to take in place of the life they imagined or previously lived. There's not even jam tomorrow. Trump offered jam tomorrow. That's why people voted for him; he seemed to offer the hope for a better life, without having to constantly proclaim he was doing so like Obama. Bernie arguably offered a similar hope.
A populist orator who stepped up and said "I'll leave you alone" would win with a landslide, imo.
