I mean, I was one of those folks, considering the concept of a chuuba that primarily focuses on western metal music that actually does decent screams/growls was pretty fresh and niche. Bitch had the market cornered basically. Too bad she turned out to be a fucking lolcow, vocal talent notwithstanding.

Not that I'm aware of. Probably a bit of creative difference from some of her previous/recent comments (not wanting to be a "yokai Hatsune Miku", wanting to do music her way, etc) but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of it has something to do with her sanctimonious attitude on social media as well.

Also, I was one of those early supporters of Mana, I was promised Metal and all I got was shit political takes and effortless shitposts.

Mana and her old producer/manager Tachibana Music split ways a few months back. Turns out the distrokid account Mana was using for all their previous songs/covers prior to the split was under Tachibana's account and this whole slapfight ensued when Tachibana "in an effort to move on", nuked his distro account a few days ago - which also nuked Mana's song covers on Spotify (it's all there in his response). There's also some indication of issues about revenue splits.

Ok that song had real true meaning, and them lyrics had some heart poured into them. Now listening to it quite a few times, some of the lyrics are so fitting to each it just perfect. Let me explain

Main lyrics (The Wish to meet IRL)

I actually like the MV more as I realised it was a very tight deadline as Cali was waiting on Ina to finish the pieces and couldn't edit the MV till she had.

Song's a strong 7/weak 8.

MV for it is more disappointing, I think. First original song by the gen and it's just moving shots of the new year's costume and song lyrics in different fonts? C'mon man.

Edit: Aight, on repeat viewings, I did notice that the focus being on the MV background being all their previous collab clips together seem to be the point.
