Instead of trying to get 200k subs shouldn't his goal be getting more than 1000 views per video, more than 300 live viewers or more than 20 people in the chat? Those would be goals I would personally work on first, but I'm not Phil.
No, because those are lost causes and his sub count is impressive when you don't break it down that 95% of them left a decade ago. The views are because he's massacred in the algorithm that he's never getting back because he's better off financially keeping his detractor content alive. He doesn't really want new live viewers either, he wants people that give him lots of money.

Yeah, his main objective is to attract a small group of whales and maybe make a couple of them stick for a while. He knows that his "content" is being supported by 2, 3 whales that are giving him money because it pisses off detractors and are in his chat just to perform to us.

Phil insists that his low viewership and slow chatroom are just things you need to ignore if you want to be a positive member of chat and not an idiot who says the sky is falling.
Low stream viewership and chat makes zero difference when he deletes the livestream immediately anyway. He would be happy with only 20 viewers if they were tippers.

This is the same bloke that fumes at the mouth when Phil makes money, or when OIC decides to troll. He should look at how YouTube works because he's helping Phil grow. He's not doing himself any favors.
I believe most detractors doing this will be the same blokes losing their shit when Phil hits 200,000 subs by his birthday.

I'm sorry that I forgot who, but some lad made a great point about how interacting with Phil's stream is actually helping him. Trolling him by boosting his views, subs and interacting with his community posts isn't bad for his growth.

Since most detractors already have troll accounts subbed to his channel, simply change your name to something related to Derich's birthday. Does fuck all for Phil's numbers and will likely make him throw a fit about changing your name.
I would argue that Phil focusing on getting the most subscribers possible is just like how he brags about the amount of impressions his tweets get and uses it as proof that tens of thousands of people are eagerly reading his tweets. Getting more subs which will just end up being dead while all of his other metrics suffer would probably do him more harm than good in the end. However, I do agree with your overall point, the only way to win is not to play, namely not interact with Phil's content at all. There's more than enough restreamers and clippers around right now catering to different tastes so detractor channels should already have everyone covered, so there's no need to sub, watch the streams on his channel, clicking on dislike, interacting with his community polls etc.

"Can you imagine if I actually put some fuckin effort into my cahntent? Dood, that's insane! If I did that then my channel wouldn't have the RAW UNEDITED REAL TAWK AND GAMEPLAY that you all have come to love and a lotta peepul demand. "
"Unedited raw content" has to be the stupidest expression of Pigspeak that Phil has invented. Imagine taking something that is clearly a bad and lazy aspect of what you produce and trying to make it seem like it's a good thing.

"Unlike those other content creators who pay professional video editors to make their videos more interesting and increase the digestibility of their videos, I just shit up 8 hours of videos almost every day and barely crop anything."

There's zero advantages for a fan in not having highlights. People have other things to spend their time on, they don't want to get back from work and watch 8 unedited hours of Phil. Sure, keep the full vods, but also add highlights and it'll be far better.

It is yet another example of Phil's narcissism. He doesn't give a shit about it not being good for his viewers. People's lives should revolve around him and they should adjust their lives to his content, not the other way around.

Keep in mind he goes grocery shopping at the store she works at. She could take 10 minutes to grab things three times a week after shifts so neither of them would have to go grocery shopping on their day off and they could spend it entirely together.

Yeah this has always completely baffled me. I don't get why he needs a massive, one-day amount of money to go shopping once a week instead of doing something like you said. Well, I mean I know he needs it for Champions and all his money 'needs' are complete BS, but besides that. It's probably a big part of why he wastes as much as he does too. I'm sure they buy stuff with some meal in mind 5 days away that, when the day comes, the two lazy slugs say fuck it and just Doordash instead and the food goes in the trash.

An old Tweet I know, but still. He really have no idea how not to be cringy.
Nobody says you have to give an expensive gift, but how about giving something thoughtful?
Phil sounds like one of those cucks who's idea of relationship dynamics is so misguided that he thinks his girlfrend "lets him have sex with her" or something.

Another week, another topic about “what success means” and how it relates to the fat man.

On a personal level, the concept of success has always been of a subjective quality, really. Some people consider going to a trade school and working as an electrician to make $70,000 per year to be successful. Others consider purchasing a $200,000 home in a small town in the Midwest to comfortably live there with their family to be successful as well.

On a societal level, success is defined by the amount of money you make. In the US, we have a sick obsession to associate the obscenely wealthy as models to aspire to because, well, they made it. They achieved the social class that many people aspire or would dream to be a part of.

So how does Phil’s situation rank both subjectively and, more importantly, objectively?

Well, subjectively, if you were to listen to the pig, he’s the most successful, happily married, filled to the brim with integrity streamer who’s ever existed in the history of mankind. When discussing his own material conditions, Phil is simply the happiest person on the planet. Why? Because he’s super successful: he’s married; has a loving family; provides meaningful content that truly matters for tens of thousands of people (even possibly hundreds of thousands according to him); lives in a beautiful gated community; is financially successful; and has thousands of people who hate him because he’s super successful and we’re not. Yeah, according to Phil, he’s the most OG streamer on the internet and had a legacy that no one (not even PDP) could dream of having. If you were to look up the words “integrity” and “happiness” in the dictionary, according to Phil, they should just put up his picture.

Now, let’s look at his situation objectively. Phil just pulled off a fraudulent bankruptcy little less than two years ago. The bank leaks demonstrated that he’s just shy of $100 away from having a negative balance. In 2021, he had at least two “marathons” to raise money to cover his mortgage. In that same year, Twitch terminated his partnership because of his behavior. He also happens to waste all of his disposable income into food, alcohol, and online gambling games. He has two major crippling addictions that enable him to escape the material conditions of his real life. He’s an incredibly lonely guy who lives with a wife who doesn’t fuck him. He’s scared to go outside and experience life as it’s meant to be experienced. He publicly debases himself by panhandling virtually, 6 out of 7 days of the week, every week, every month, every year. His name is so toxic that corporations, sponsors, and other content creators want nothing to do with him. His channel is growing at such a negligible rate, it cannot be counted as growth. His engagement and impression shares are so bad that most people discover him through YT detractor content which ranks higher than his own channel.

I mean, the list of how pathetic Phil’s life really is endless. I think for many the hard part comes from looking at their own situation compared to Phil’s and that’s when contention arises. A person busting their ass in a tough labor-intensive job and making $15/hr while being aware of DSP’s existence is going to get upset. Watching this fat slob taking in a modest amount of money for begging online would be frustrating to watch for sure.

Two things this person should think about: one, the system is not fair and enables leeches like Phil to exploit people to make a buck; and two, things never remain the same or as they are forever. Your condition may or may not improve but as long as you’re putting yourself out there, meeting people, honing a skill, shit, just trying to get ahead while in life while taking risks is eons more productive and probably rewarding than what Phil is doing… which is living in the last, trying to catch a former level of glory and money he will never be able to reach.

Don’t look at this fat, pasty ghoul and be jealous of his situation. Begging on the internet is not being successful. It’s the penultimate definition of being a fucking talentless, worthless, and shameless loser. And never forget that for his own situation, for being so fucking below average, stupid, lame, and uninteresting, Phil hit some kind of weird lottery that comes once in a lifetime and he’s already squandered the whole thing anyways.

Never get jealous over Phil, you really don’t want your life to be like his.

I agree @MoonRocker , paypiggies and other people who say they are jealous of phil's life believe his pignosis too much.
Maybe, you could be jealous of the money he makes. But, not of his lifestyle I mean this MF isn't even 50 yet and he is starting to look like goblin.

A little bit of (involuntary I guess) self-awareness here, as he portrays himself as Scrooge McDuck, who never acknowledged his "soulmaid" (i.e. Goldie O'Gold) because he was too busy making money. Like a machoor adhult.

You called the King of Hate fat! All of what you said is completely and utterly invalid as a result.

His goal should be to learn how to cook and function like a normal adult.

I can dream can't I?

It's pretty simple, I think.
Is he content and satisfied with his life? Absolutely. He is very comfortable. He has everything he wants. His priorities are considered abnormal but ultimately it doesn't matter what other people think in that regard.
Is he a happy person? Fucking hell no. If he was, the common troll insults would roll off him like rain.
But he still gets offended by absolutely everything, still feels the need to put himself before others (taking genuine satisfaction over being above his teammates on a fucking Halo Infinite leaderboard), is always whining about people making more money than him. Deep down he's still as insecure and bitter as he always was. He's mentally stuck at a middle-school level and he'll always be an angry person.
It's just a basic aspect of the human mind. If you're constantly asserting you are something, it's because on a deeper level you know you aren't. Because you can't let your actions speak for themselves, you feel like you more to prove it. That's why "positivity" has become such a buzzword on his streams.
People definitely can envy Phil for pulling in fucking $10k a month for playing video games in his PJs at noon. What they shouldn't overlook is how his own mentality is pulling him down, his persecution complex that has him convinced he's always the victim being attacked by everyone. That and his god-awful spending habits.
