One segment of doctors are harming people while thinking they're helping them, while the other is harming them out of disgust and ez money.
Of the two types of doctors only one is deluded, and it isn't Rumer's type. Also I could make a serious argument that Rumer is helping them, since by sterilizing as many as possible she ensures they can't pass on their mental illness.

The vast majority of TIFs, if they're far enough into their transition, probably just look like tubby men (or androgynous blobs) with patchy beards and muffin-tops. Most men with gonadal issues or born intersex also tend to have softer more feminine features and are prone to weight gain.
On the flip side, MTFs / TIMs more often than not make no effort to look female, and if they have 'tits' pre-surgery, it's usually just them squeezing together their moobs. They also tend to use the 'I'm actually intersex' excuse to try validate their identity; look at Jonathan Yaniv. He claims as such despite no genetic proof of a chromosomal or gonadal issue. In the end, all three groups, TIFs, TIMs and genuine intersex folks end up looking like pudgy genderless things.

Most healthcare companies dislike when patients request records, but they have every right to them, so the standard way to discourage it is to charge a ridiculous amount for "printing" or "processing", like a dollar a page or w/e. They don't want anyone digging through the records for a reason to sue. imo people need to be sued way more often, but the charging per page thing is at least a standard practice. trying to dodge having to hand them over is unusual and illegal. I wonder if this dumb bitch deletes things without knowing how the software records such actions? wouldn't be the first time someone thought they were being sly & fucked themselves over completely.
When it comes to sending pages of other records to the wrong recipient accidentally- they are required to tell the patient whose records were incorrectly disclosed, and what type of entity received them. I remember the change in the law when it happened, a lot of people thought "oh fuck!" because in the past you didn't really have to do anything, just cross your fingers and hope no one reported you (and usually they didn't, most recipients were other health care systems or professionals and they might get mad at you, but they wouldn't usually report anything & had approved ways to destroy the records). A lot of fines were collected without patients being notified of what happened. Now they have to be sent a letter with disclosures. failing to send the letter gets you in even more trouble.
Even that shit where she sent a message to a reddit account on the basis of knowing which patient it was- even if she didn't access the records to double check (and she might have, which is in itself a violation), she is using private health information in order to send rude messages over a non-encrypted system without any way of verifying the recipient is the patient. cutting off necrotic tissue in the office is a really bad idea. Depending on the cause, leaving a small amount of necrotic tissue can cause the necrosis to spread. Generally patients are put under for that kind of debridement, & the surgeons take a little more than what is dead. It seems unlikely to me that rumer has training in that area of surgery, but I don't know for sure. more sophisticated wound care protocols exist, using things like medical grade maggots (to eat precisely all of the dead tissue) and leeches (to draw blood to the area that is having trouble establishing circulation). It may not have been covered or worth it for a cosmetic appendage, but they usually do these kinds of procedures for things like reattached hands or scalps.

I have a question that I also posted in a thread regarding a "Doctor" who does ftm top surgery that I think applies here as well.
These surgeons think the holes they create and the tits they lop off are totally real looking works of art, that's part of the reason they are so cold and uncaring to the patients having complications.
If you are so damn talented at cutting off perfectly normal, healthy breast and sculpting them into manly looking chest, what are you doing with the tissue you cut off?
I mean it's prime healthy tissue from a healthy living person. Instead of sending it to the hospital biohazard incinerator, has any been donated to help burn victims and others who need skin grafts? If this "doctor" really cared about people and believes she is so talented, how about showing some photos where you did the opposite of cutting them off and reconstructed the breasts of women who lost the ones they actually wanted and went through the horrors of chemo and radiation using that tissue.
