The wokeism of the late '60s and the '70s was nowhere near as bad as the woke of Current Year though. I think if woke does end, the "snapback" could be huge. That is, when things go back to conservative, they could go hard conservative. And that's not a good thing to me. It could make the Religious Right that started around Reagan look tame.

Really the only comparison to our current times is right at the end of the Weimar Republic, where things got so batshit crazy people start voting for anyone wiling to fix it. This is how we got the Nazis, who didn't hide their intentions from the start.

This is why I don't worry about niggers taking over, the troons destroying everything they touch, the SJW's declaring everything offensive, and woke culture being the shit in toilet it is. I miss the time around the '00s to the first part of the early '10s before Occupy, when things were arguably moderate. But there's that endless "pendulum" effect America was stuck in that was pushing from right to left. And oh wow did things go left. So much it may never go back. That bit about reading hits me a little hard to be honest. Its amazing how few people read books these days, even just for fun and the enjoyment of a good book. Books require the reader to work somewhat for the story, you have to counjour that shit in your head, you have to concentrate for more than 15 minutes on a single thing, often with little to no distractions around them. A lot of younger people and young adults are just constantly having streaming videos on, all the time. They bath with them on, they shit with their phones playing some youtubers screaming about something. Unless its hyper edited, bombastic, in your face KHHAANNTENT, then they do not give a remote shit anymore. Surprising no one thought that the modern social media world and having a way to endlessly numb yourself in front of the telly would have a negative side effect on people.
