Trump has scarily been the best President in my lifetime simply because of his narcissism: Trump would give you whatever you want as long as you loved him back. You want jobs? Trump was a nicer president because he was eager to make deals that benefited both his and his opponents, but often got stymied because his opponents were disgusted by the idea of both sides winning.

Where things really seem weird with Fauci and his ilk, is they aren't willing to admit their critics were right on anything. One cope I've seen the past few days is people claiming right wingers weren't being vindicated when the CDC(?) woman brought up comorbidities as showing the numbers were inflated because it technically was being said in some random statements from the CDC or whatever, when little factoids like that were resulting in right wingers regularly being told they were peddling misinformation.

By not admitting those right wingers, who at times were censored for making statements like the CDC recently have, were absolutely right, it makes it clear how politicized they are.
