Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

It hasn't taken long for some companies to begin abandoning vax mandates now that the federal government can't force the issue. General Electric has done away with it entirely. Meanwhile, Nike is gloating that they're going to fire all unvaxxed employees tomorrow.
I doubt that ultimatum extends to their child labor force in Southeast Asia... Nike is shit anyway.

Was that the shoe company that LeBron simp for even through it was made out of force chinese labor camp?
I hate to go to bat for Lebron here, but the man is the son of a literal crack whore growing up the in the poorest neighborhood in America. We shouldn't expect him to give well-informed nuanced takes on international politics. It's just like how Babe Ruth essentially grew up in juvenile detention in Baltimore. Nobody would have expected him to give his recommendation for the US position on the Washington Naval Treaty of 1922.

Nay screw him!!!! Im tired of people kissing that man's feet. A cop literally got fired for calling out LeBron when he was bad mouthing police officers. That cop shouldn't have been fired!!

Agreed. I have no time for wealthy celebrities who live in gated communities who advocate for the police to be defunded and let feral suburbanites descend onto poor inner city neighborhoods to destroy homes and livelihoods. Also Kobe Bryant is the 2nd greateast basketball player behind MJ. Not Lebron.

Kobe was also a hardcore BLM guy, so I'm not really sure what the difference between him and Lebron is supposed to be here. Kobe was also a rich kid, the son of a professional basketball player, while Lebron grew up dirt-poor. I think both Kobe and Lebron had incredibly misguided policies towards BLM, ignoring or excusing riots, but Lebron actually grew up in those dirt-poor inner city neighborhoods. Kobe grew up in upper-class neighborhoods in Italy.

The difference is talent. I think Kobe was significantly more talented than Lebron is and that the MJ vs Lebron debate as to who is the best basketball player of all time should be about MJ vs. Kobe. It was just a little jab I wanted to throw in because Lebron is very overrated.

Well first of all, Kobe was not significantly more talented than Lebron. Kobe was significantly more skilled, and a much harder worker, but Lebron had vastly more natural talent. I think the fact that Kobe had the more successful career (at least so far, Lebron hasn't retired yet), speaks to his incredible work ethic (when he wasn't busy raping). As for the debate of who is the best basketball player of all time, there is no debate. It's Jordan. Full stop.

It’s Washington DC during the Trump Admin days. Any “local burger joint” in DC would have refused to fill the order in protest of Drumpf, would have notified the Media of their standing in solidarity with “The Resistance”, and would have been lauded as heroes on all the major networks and social media outlets for a week.
And why do we care about their protest or resistance?

There's a lot more to the top 10 all time NBA players list than just stats. There's a ton of people in the basketball community that refuse to acknowledge anything that happened more than 25 years ago, and I think that's what keeps LeBron in the GOAT argument even though he doesn't deserve to be there. Any offensive superstar who played the entirety of their career after the '00-'01 season is suspect because they now play in an era where the defender isn't allowed to touch the shooter. LeBron learned to exploit that and built a legacy of being one of the best players ever to draw bullshit fouls and flop on the ground like a soccer player 1/4 his size. He's a giant crybully.

I think it would've been better if Trump picked a local burger joint. Or at least a better fast food chain. I'm thinking Wendy's.
The closest "burger joint" to the White House is the McDonalds on 17th and H. I've always found it hilarious that people act like this was some deep political play on Trump's part, when it was just literally the closest source of fast food.

I almost got a job across the street from that McDonald's. In retrospect I'm quite pleased I didn't.

As for the White House's burger supply, I think Old Ebbit is a little closer, especially if you take the tunnel to the Treasury Department. But if you want frou frou burgers you might as well ask your chef to make them or order a bunch from the Navy Mess. Mickey D's has them all beat on the "fast" aspect, which is important when you're dealing with a Trumpian volume of food.
