Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Well its not so clear. why should only citizen and not all legal residents be allowed to vote in local elections?

Today, they want to use far worse methods to shake down a sitting senator and force him to directly vote against the wishes of his blood-red constituency

Absolute scumbags, the entire lot. I can't believe that at one point I though Dems were misguided but fair and well-meaning people, they really are just opportunistic assholes that fully embody "no wrong tactics just wrong targets"

maybe, but its still a good idea. they should limit the voting rights to citizens of a couple of friendly countries, but why shouldnt EU citizen with permanent residence in NYC not be allowed to vote in local elections? or Japanese Citizens.
They are legal and they pay taxes, so why shouldnt they be allowed to vote on local issues?
