2001? Selling life insurance. This was a summer job that he quit and got mad that the company wanted to charge him for wasting their time and money.

This still cracks me up out of all the DSP job lore. Everyone's made expensive mistakes on the clock, but imagine being such a fuckup that you end up owing your employer money after a whole summer of work and no major incidents. It's like something out of a cartoon.

A bit late but it's pretty dumb to say "I'm anti-mod" and "Skyrim on PC sucks" in a two post span. The games you like are subjective 99.9% of the time but in this very specific situation you're Playing Video Games Wrong.

I mean frankly. I don't like Skyrim. I try to not tard rage about video games around here. So, I was keeping it brief and griefy, just the way I like it. Don't get too worked up about my thoughts on that fucking game.

If you must, I think the game is too thin. Too inconsequential. I play actual autist games like Falcon 4.0 or War in the West. And even my RPG itch is usually satiated by like old DOS games that had manuals you could kill a man with. In short, I want a game to be as much about learning it, as it is playing. However I know I'm fucking weird. So, I understand that people like Skyrim. I just think there is better wastes of time. But like I know, no one likes people being that kinda asshole

He is so salty and bitter at the fact that others are simply existing and being happy doing what they do, having a supportive and fun community, and building a career for themselves, he doesn't respect anyone.

Don't forget, he's the one having to deal with trolls (for some reason they hate his guts dood), he's the one who did this for a living for over 10 years - and has nothing to show for it. He's the one who pioneered the style of let's plays and was so incompetent, lazy and unproductive that he managed to fail to adapt to the changing climate of the thing he claims to have created.

DSP will never be liked, mainly because he's absolutely unlikeable, and is one of the most punchable faces on the web. All of his social media presence has a negative spin to it, he thrives while talking negatively about others, and one of the few things that make him passionate is kicking someone more popular than him while they're down.

No matter how many disabled people he panders to, how many times he calls someone (more popular than him) 'sir' on Twitter, or how many times he has a segment, trying to convince you he's changed from being racist 10 years ago, a year after being departnered for "hateful slurs".

What you failed to take into account is that those deadlifts are performed while sitting on a wheelchair. Much more challenging, dood!

His numbers sound eerily close to mine and I'm an amputee. 265 bench , 350 DL and 300 squat but that's reasonable since I'm missing half my calf down on 1 side. So either he's got something going on or he is just a little leg bitch and then there's the most likely that they're just larping.

just remember Phil's biggest regret in life is not jumping on trends earlier SOLELY for the purposes of making more money, direct capture, twitch, streaming etc

his obsession with accessibility is him trying to jump on a trend for fear of missing out on money

he started posting his audio only schedule citing accessibility for blind people, but he's so out of touch he doesn't realise there is tech out there that can read out words, or words on pictures way faster than the time it takes him to finish his schedule

blind people would only listen to him if they want to suffer, the clown mode, the unbalanced audio, lack of attention to audio quality, not posting his videos anywhere they can be turned up to 8/16 x speed, but it makes him feel like it seperates him from other streamers and he can stroke his own ego by calling himself an accessibility advocate

it'd be like translating your authentic italian spaghetti sauce recipe into ebonics and talking about how in touch with the poor black community you are, meanwhile you live in a gated community in WA and have this one half-black friend on twitter who consults for massive corporations cause they want woke points

And yet. Once he really does have a last stream whether its predetermined or out of no where, and that final snort echos through the anulls of the Internet, Personally I'm gonna miss him. And I'm probably gonna thank him for giving me Entertainment because even if I'm an Ironic fan I still watch (restreams of) the guy as background noise. And I suspect many of you will feel the same. I mean you can hit me with the dumb or the autism but even when i took a break I was still excited to see what bullshit came out of Phil's trash hole while i was gone. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The fact that you humblebrag about how you only like "thinking man's games" whilst being "anti-mods" is rather hilarious. Mods usually increase the complexity and learning curve of a game, far beyond the intended scope of the developers. Ironically the same game you think is for dumb casuals (Skyrim) can be turned into a complex RPG with the right combination of PC mods.
