Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

I have been obsessing over this exemption issue for the past few days, talking with a friend in a similar situation, and since I've formulated a plan for myself I think I should just relax. I'm having a hard time relaxing and just focusing on my studies, so I should probably step away from reading about mandates and news for now.

Something a little different to go with today's usual legal news bulletin - coronanews from my neck of the server farm. About half a dozen people are confirmed coofers at a friend's office (all caught it within a few days of each other). Of 6-7 people, 5 experienced a pissweak cold, 1 had a moderate flu, and one is having a "just fuck my shit up"-grade flu. There's gotta be something different about that last guy, right? Yep. He's a severely-overweight middle-aged diabetic man.

Question for anyone autistically following the real science : Got any good articles or papers on the previous failed MRNA vaccines before Covid, the ones with the sky-high mortality rates? I know they've been mentioned in passing here before but searching the thread seems to be pretty impossible given the length and Xenforo's lack of proper search operators.

There's a 2018 survey study discussing possible ADE in monkeys (PDF attached, article Archive) that references a 2014 study (PDF attached) (landing page Archive), and there's also one for SARS 1 where the subject ferrets had their livers fucked up. (Archive) @Drain Todger probably has more.

Is that the dimensional merge?

Cheeki-breeki, bratan.

USA CoVax Mandate Legal News Roundup -- California, CMS, and Corporations Edition

Let's start today's roundup with a very good article on the state of California's gradeschool vaccine mandates. (Archive) It goes remarkably in depth on the situation and the screwy legal morass of state and local mandates, and even includes a district-by-district chart (with filters!) documenting what everyone is doing. I'm confused, I didn't think it was still possible to see actual journalism like this.

As omicron rages throughout California, some schools have already added another layer of defense: At least 40 California districts are or soon will require vaccinations for staff or students, or both.

Some of these policies are stricter than Gov. Gavin Newsom’s plans to require vaccination for all K-12 staff and students before the next school year, according to a CalMatters investigation. While large districts like San Diego Unified and Los Angeles Unified have garnered national attention for their independent mandates, several dozen have gone largely unnoticed by state and national media.
Since October, K-12 staff statewide had the option to provide proof of vaccination or test weekly. Beginning next school year, both staff and eligible students must be vaccinated. The Pfizer vaccine has full federal approval for ages 16 and up, and emergency approval for ages 5-15.
Stanford Law School professor Bill Koski said districts that don’t offer exemptions are more vulnerable to legal challenges, but California’s overall vaccine law is one of the nation’s strongest in withstanding legal challenges.

Generally, California vaccine mandates in K-12 education have been “upheld against legal challenges because public health has essentially trumped religious liberties,” he said.
Roughly 34,000 Los Angeles Unified students were not in compliance with the district’s vaccine mandate as of Dec. 7. Too late to reach full immunity by the semester’s start on Jan. 10, the students would have been barred from campus and transitioned to online learning.
This — and added pressure from Gov. Newsom urging the district to keep kids in the classroom — led the board to reconsider its timeline. Los Angeles Unified voted Dec. 14 to delay the vaccine mandate until next fall, citing an 87% vaccination rate among students.

Revisiting CMS, there's an update already on the Texas holdout situation -- the judge tossed TX's suit, and that last, single-state injunction shielding healthcare workers from the federal mandate is no more. (Archive) Sorry guys, TX tried.

The Biden administration’s vaccine mandate for health workers is now enforceable across the U.S. after a federal court Wednesday dismissed a lawsuit filed by Texas, the only state that didn’t have to comply following a U.S. Supreme Court decision.

Relevant to @Super-Chevy454 's update on Starbucks, here's a roundup of corporate mandate news covering the burnt coffee bean merchants and more. (Archive) Note the bit highlighted in yellow.

Major banks like Goldman Sachs and Citigroup told Forbes they will continue their vaccine mandates in light of the decision, and Wells Fargo said it will continue its testing program as part of its vaccine-or-test policy.

United Airlines and Tyson Foods have also adopted vaccine mandates for their workers while a number of companies require vaccines to work from the office, including American Express, Deloitte, Facebook, Google, Lyft, Salesforce and Uber.

General Electric announced last week it would be rolling back its vaccine and testing plans, and additional companies could follow, as a Willis Towers poll conducted in November found 32% of companies planned to require vaccinations only if Biden’s mandate took effect.

People using vaccine emotes in their name on twitter is like the Jews using ((())) to own the meme, you assume it's someone taking the piss but they are playing it straight.

Maybe if you went outside you'd see that we are very, very far away from "Literally 1984". In fact, things seem to be receding from that point and fast, at least judging by the actions of the UK and more recently the Czechs. There's something big that's keeping that tyranny from descending upon us, and I can tell you for free that it isn't us autist farmers.
Can we get some of that here in NZ because the government is so determined to destroy the country before the 2030 deadline that I think Klaus must of promised them all Mortal Kombat robes of their own if they keep it up.

Thanks for not giving a single fuck. This person was congratulating themselves for being so compassionate recently....

BBC: IT'S A CONSPIRACY
BBC a month later: WHO COULD HAVE LABELED THIS AS A CONSPIRACY?

I know it's a classic liberal tactic to consistently lie as a mob to confuse the normies but it never gets any less aggravating. We might think it's stupid for them to keep pretending CRT isn't being taught in schools when we have so much evidence that it is, but sadly the normies see "experts" telling them it's a conspiracy and they assume "experts" have to be telling the truth.

Whatever the media is going to try and pull we can never forget the suffering they helped propagate over the last two years.

the whole idea that it's a conspiracy is extra aggravating to me as an older zoomer who grew up in a liberal area and actually had to put up with it constantly in high school when the current year ball started picking up speed

Indeed, one Youtuber dropped that comment worth to share.
I think it’s too much to expect for Corporate America to generally give a shit about the constitution or human rights (look at all the companies that are totally fine with Chinese slave labor going into their products). But at the end of the day: do the motives of these companies really matter if it ends up advancing human rights or following the constitution when many other employers are going in the opposite direction? I think this shows that with enough pressure on their bottom line, even the biggest corporate entities will fold.

The only exceptions to this are banks, who are propped up by the Federal Reserve and don’t make their money off of retail consumers anymore (and are trying to get rid of those people by either eliminating their services to them or increasing fees). The Fed, Wall Street, Big Banks, big pharma, and payment processors seem to be where much of the problems are coming from and people who want to see this country become more free and prosperous should be focusing on ways to weaken these actors. When pushing paper makes hundreds of billions of dollars it siphons that away from actually productive businesses that make things or do things. While woke companies are annoying and damaging to this country’s social fabric, most of them at least produce something of value, the same can’t be said of financial firms or banks.

Awoo, my advice for seeking a religious exemption is to sound sincere and like you're bursting with barely restrained conviction. Like you've been a nice little Christian boy biting his tongue and keeping his faith to himself for too long.

Assert the authority of the divine over the policies of any government or papacy (Christ is king). Call the Vatican and Pope a bunch of corrupt child molesters you wont take moral instruction from. With the divine established as your source of conviction and instruction, quote whatever damn scripture that could be even tangentially related, and mean it. Avoid super common passages.

This should be the bulk of your refusal. Then you can assert as a tertiary point that the fetal cell line products are abhorrent if at all. You dont want to bet all in on fetal cell lines, or they could try to pull a gotcha. Thats something tangible to fight. Your sincere beliefs in the divine and their instruction? Boxing with shadows, shadiest lawyer cant do a fucking thing to deboonk that.

met an old friends mom in the supermarket yesterday. we talked for a bit and than Covid came into the discussion and i thought she would go full Karen on me. but instead, she went full anti-vaxx and started telling me a bunch of Qanon conspiracy theorist.

its good to know even boomers can be based and red pilled here in all places.

pretty much me when i saw my mom's side of the family in summer 2020

I'm already trying to figure out when I want to take my Covid vacation. May as well milk the cultists for all they're worth, and the vaxxies not working is just the icing on the cake. Judging from the milieu and HR proclamations, the simple words "I tested positive" make you immediately spun from sugar glass. Don't come online you poor dear, just SURVIVE! Fuck me, you mean I can get a paid two week vacation if I just cough like a Dickensian orphan into a microphone? Which beach will I be convalescing at? Er, I mean bedroom. At home. Still sick, I swear.
You do realize, that reporting a positive fucking case plugs into their fucking numbers, which they use as fucking evidence this shit is still a problem, right?

I see so many cunts like you playing this fucking game on one hand but on other wondering why this shit is still going on.

Go ahead, enjoy your fortnight off, but don't wonder why this shit is still happening.

Cunts wanting time off and are handing over their fucking freedom in the process. Fucking retards.

i'd have agreed very early on but at this point the more cases the better

Mind if I ask, how? Genuinely curious :)
the astronomical increase in cases completely decoupled it from the alleged deaths to the point the msm has pointed it out. more cases could now potentially mean less deadly virus as it should be

actually now that i think about it, this more or less proves they were marking the vast majority of deaths as covid without even testing as people should be that much more statistically likely to have covid at death so the death numbers should've jumped up proportionally

I don't "wonder" why this shit is happening at all. I wonder why people still put up with it. Covid is a motherfucking cold, there will eternally be "cases" of it from now until the end of the human species. The powers that be have been cooking numbers to their own comfort for TWO YEARS now.

This bullshit has fuckall to do with "reported cases". The elites are dicking us all over because vax cattle have already convinced themselves that the common cold is vewwy scawwy and deadly. This has been theater the entire time. If my coworkers feel like giving me a vacation for claiming to have a cold, that's because they're fucking stupid. I wouldn't even have to report it to health authorities because I don't live in a fascist Euro shithole that demands that kind of nonsense.

Get over yourself.

How the hell did people ever deal with real life when endemic smallpox was a thing?

There's gotta be something different about that last guy, right? Yep. He's a severely-overweight middle-aged diabetic man.

@SCSI

Overweight and diabetic means pre-existing endothelial dysfunction. Pre-existing endothelial dysfunction means pre-existing oxidative stress. Pre-existing oxidative stress means low systemic levels of antioxidant substrates; low nitric oxide synthesis, low selenium and glutathione, et cetera. It is also an indicator of malnutrition. People with obesity and diabetes don't tend to have balanced diets; they tend to have "high-energy" diets high in carbs and fat and low in vitamins and minerals. This type of malnutrition specifically robs endogenous antioxidant enzymes like GPX of their substrates.

Why do Americans die of COVID-19 so much? Well, it's because it turns out that a diet of corn syrup, mulched grains, salt, paprika, and industrial waste doesn't actually provide every element on the periodic table that people need for their cells to function correctly.

That and now with many countries at between 60 - 90% "fully vaccinated" status, more cases just shows that the virus is evolving in spite of the vaccine (or perhaps because of).
