Patrick Sean Tomlinson / @stealthygeek / "Torque Wheeler" / @RealAutomanic / Kempesh / Padawan v2.5 - "Conservative" sci-fi author with TDS, armed "drunk with anger management issues" and terminated parental rights, actual tough guy, obese, paid Quasi, paid thousands to be repeatedly unbanned from Twitter

$150k on lawyers and nothing to show for it.

That is like life changing money for a lot of people and Patrick just chucked that into a shredder because he has an extremely self destructive, addiction to Twitter.

I volunteer with addicts. I'm not saying this as a joke. Patrick is up there with some of the worst heroin addicts I have tried to help.

It's ruining his personal and professional life. He is hemorrhaging cash. And he has a thousand excuses as to why he shouldn't stop his drug of choice and self destructive behaviors.

If social media companies actually gave a shit about their users like their love to claim, people like Patrick would get IP banned from their sites. He simply can't handle social media.

I mean, it's not like he spent any of his own money. And I wouldn't be surprised if (and that's a big "if") he pays Quasi, that money doesn't come out of his own pockets either. I'm sure the SFWA has some more member funds to funnel his way.

I'm pretty sure that, as the plaintiff, he is personally liable to pay Quasi's damages. The SWFA could decide to be charitable and offer to cover those costs, but they're not obligated to in any way. If they do nothing Piggy Boy is on the hook for all that cash.

What's even more fun is that it seems that, under WI law, his wife's property counts as his when the court officers come knocking to get the dues.

I honestly feel somewhat ill knowing that one of my childhood heroes might have at one point had to stand awkwardly at a cocktail party pretending not to loathe Fatrick.
FWIW, someone impersonated Patrick on Twitter and made a snarky comment to Turtledove. He responded calling (fake) Patrick a "so-called author."

Real Patrick saw this exchange and quickly corrected the record, letting Turtledove know it was an impostor. But Pat's ego had to have taken a hit.

Way to spend $100k on nothing, lawyers win again.
He could have bought a mountain of cocaine that would make Tony Montana climb up it with pitons and hammers only to snort it down to the raw table. He could have bought a luxury car. He could have bought as many rent boys with as many dicks as any gay man could possibly suck off.

Instead he paid to LOSE A LOLSUIT.

Suck it Fat Rick!

It's not a Corn level harvest, with Fatrick it'd be more of a sweet potato
Maybe a Candy Corn harvest would be more appropriate

I don't think he could get the means at loan for those purchases. He could get a loan for this, because the SFWA is a bad joke.
