I often don't even look at the pictures at the end of the book so I wouldn't know them from Adam. I swear, every time I let my guard down I find that one of my favorite authors is either a sex offender or a total twat. I know that one day I'm going to find a bombshell about Seth Dickinson(Baru Comorant). There is no way a guy that obsessed with lesbians is not a fucker of some sort.

I don't know if he fucks kids, but he certainly fucks spec fiction over as much as possible. Unless you're in SFWA upper leadership, or one of the "lucky" few he deems acceptable, nearly every author, editor and non-Tor publisher has a half dozen horror stories about John Scalzi.

Aside from NK Jemison, he's probably the biggest bully in spec fiction. Loony lefty, one of the key ringleaders in everything from spearheading efforts to smear right wing authors like Larry Correia and Jim Butcher to helping mentor or uplift much of the current crop of maniacs running SFWA.

Oh, and he's an utter hack as an author. Old Man's War is a less competent riff on The Forever War, Redshirts makes Ready Player One look deep, and he's been caught essentially taking successful books by midlist indie authors and rewriting them... Jason Cordova and Eric S. Brown are ready to go to war over his next book ripping off thier Kaiju series.

Somehow Tor gave him a multimillion dollar advance despite his last book barely selling 10k copies.

Like Jemison, he's the rare SFWA insider who has managed to get connections outside the organization... so taking him down a peg or five would be a MASSIVE blow to SFWA.

I'm not a sci-fi geek myself but the various insiders have painted a picture of the SFWA as an organisation overwhelmingly composed of bottom-feeding authors barely above Rick's level. A cabal of deranged SJWs who've steadily subverted the association and pushed out wrongthinkers. Most of their time is spent with nepotistic publishing deals and award-winning, and shielding their more controversial members from criticism. Honestly I’d feel bad for Hooligan’s for getting a reputation for being Pat’s regular hangout but seeing all the shit that he does publicly and how he bitches about other patrons and them not doing anything about it kinda makes it their fault. Think of all the encounters with customers he has we don’t hear about they are letting a literal Hooligan fuck with their image.

You think a lot like me, Boston Brand. I actually have 3 different ways to come at SFWA on the legal front which I've been researching and holding onto for a couple of years. I'm just going to need a good pro-bono attorney or folk who want to fund it. We can end this organization because they are in violation of several California State Civil Rights laws.
