Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

One of the biggest criticism of chris mentioned thousands of times, was how chris tried to turn all potential girlfriend into mommys, who could have possibly anticipated his ultimate failure would lead to turning his mommy into a girlfriend.

Considering bob let them sleep together for years, what do you think he'd have said. No bob-kins who want to rp non existent chad army colonel navy seal bob.

Personally, i think he'd also have just let this happen.

Guys, I have a word about huge price of old toys, and yes, I sperged to resaerch it:

- firstly, it should be in some shape. No, probably a classic set of Lego with circa 20% missing parts will not make a huge price. Probably one can get few bux for it, but the really desired ones are that in original, unopenned boxes, aftter that used, but complete ones, later that with some missing, non-crucial parts, but most of really used toys will not make a giant bid. See this: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalo...urprise&category=[Adventurers][Desert]#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0}

this is one of the classic sets from 90's. Even if it didn't have many missing parts, but is used it had maybye stored its value (price is double, but it has nearly 25 years -calculate inflation), but only in offering price, on a specified website, from a proffesional reseller.

It has price at release ~60 USD, if one didn't keep it unopen it had price today at ~125 USD.

And see another classic set, trully classic:

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalo...arracuda&category=[Pirates][Pirates I]#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0}

Price at 1989 ~110 USD, price today if in good shape ~280 USD after 33 years. If i'm correct it is only 3% interest per year. Not very good. If some one is good in trade he probably is able to get wealthy on this market, but I'm pretty sure that a random bag of legos from childhood will not make you rich. Yes, some specific sets made a much bigger raid to north, but it is hard to predict what piece of shit will be valuable in future on that market. This isn't a large market, mainly drived by sentiment of not-so-adult guys with some cash. And the true value is not in sets, but in parts. And yes, you guess properly: most valuable parts are that weakest like sails, tensts (en bloc all clothing parts), unique parts produced in small amounts for specific sets.

Imagine You have a mission to buy only three parts fo Spynx. That black tent (produced be TLG for that specific sets and very fragible), that car body (in this colour it was in at least four sets) and a generic grey slop. Grey slop is popular in many sets so you will be able to buy it fast and cheap, car body will be harder to get, but get lucky with buying that fuckin' tent in good shape (best you can do is 10 USD for that small piece).

And remember about navy at all items in hoard, smoking damage, that he wasn't a collector but a child-like hoarder and heavy used all his bricks. Probably he lost some of them, other was destroyed due to his creations and some other was damaged by animals.

The nice thing about lego is they're fairly easy to clean. Chris didn't smoke, and navy probably would not stain them. And honestly he probably didn't masturbate into his legos much, and Chris was pretty good about collecting and saving his navy.

While obviously Chris' legos have not gone up in value since purchase, except for any boxes he might not have opened, he spent tens of thousands of dollars on them so you could still probably get a fair amount of money out of the hoard even if everything went down in value 90%. Not to mention there are probably some interesting transformers in the mix, etc.

That's the part that gets me. Any decent attorney could have gotten them the same outcome for 15%-20% the cost. I have no idea how Bell got away with charging them $50k for that. Hell, a public defender might have gotten then something similar. (Though it's unclear to me if they would have qualified for a PD, I don't know how Virginia calculates ability to pay -- in my state they grant it more or less automatically unless you're obviously decently well-off)
In Virginia:
"The right to be represented by a court appointed attorney is restricted by law to individuals who are indigent and charged with an offense punishable by incarceration, or adults who may be subjected to loss of parental rights by court order. An indigent is defined as a person who requests legal counsel but is unable to provide for full payment of a lawyer's fee without causing undue financial hardship to himself or his family."
Legal Aid only does certain civil law cases, mainly tenants rights stuff here. They won't touch messy divorces (helping you with your DIY divorce is fine) or personal injury claims.
50K is ridiculous for lawyer fees for that type of case. I agree (and I've seen it done) where a lawyer will ask for crazy fees as opposed to just saying no, I'm too busy right now to avoid an undesirable client.

If some sets are complete they might fetch some good money, also the Chris tax might help but... I doubt he has any sets complete. He's a slow in the mind, he would probably lose half of a set when he left the room.

I mean, he might not know where they are but they'd still be physically there in the room, right?

I'll go one further and say that if he'd gotten a blow job as a kid or something, he would have bragged about it if it was a girl or raged about it if it was a "homo". He certainly went off on the principal just for having him sit on his lap.
Didn't he claim to have had a homosexual experience at camp one time where he was supposedly sodomized by 13 year olds or something? I believe it was decided it was bullshit as it just didn't jive with known early-teen boy experimentation. Does anyone have a clearer recall of this?

What if Sonic the Hedgehog never existed and Chris's parents had never shown him American Rabbit?
He would have latched onto some kind of media franchise to fuel his fantasies. Perhaps even My Little Pony even before he met Megan and got into them because she was into them.

I remember that being something he made up as Jenkins Jinkies.

That was the backstory he made up for his fake Jenkins trollsona, about being sodomized by an 8-year-old. It was one of the most disturbing bits of fiction he's written, and incredibly weird because he posted it completely unprompted. Apparently he thinks experiences like that are what motivates people to become his trolls.

THAT was it, thank you. So total bullshit. I think he believed all his trolls were gay at the time, so he came up with that to try and fit in. Ah, Classic Chris. So funny, so :stupid:

When you insist on hiring an actual legislator for your routine case, you're probably looking at that. I doubt the guy gets out of bed for less than five grand.

Is it possible a chunk of that amount was to cover Snyder's medical bills in the civil case? Although it sounded like he was minimally injured. The court costs and fines didn't seem to be very much.

I was thinking more about smoke from house burning and I'm not sure that Barb and Bob was, or wasn't smokers. Also cleaning Lego needs some effort, work and detergents - with a tons of lego in makes a significant cost in terms of work.

And yes, it is possible to sell asorted bricks, but it will not make a good price. So after pre-selection for cleaning process (most cleaning methods for Lego is very destructive for stickers and prints on lego), one will go to sort lego for sale or sale it asorted for small price. If one will decide to sort Chris Lego collection into sets worktime will increase to days or even weeks of work.

I didn't do any research about transformers and so one, so I cannot estimate their value. I know he is in possesion of Optimus Prime, but is it the original plastic piece of art? And in what shape is it?

Chris stated that the medical bills were mostly covered by their liability insurance. I don't think Snyder was really hurt at all in any meaningful way other than maybe some scrapes or bumps, he just had to take the ambulance ride for the purposes of the police report and finally getting Chris prosecuted in a way that would keep him away from the game place forever.
