I dunno, even as a kid, P&F wasn't really my thing. I dunno whether it was the ersatz-Butch Hartman artstyle, or what, but I could never get into it. Even now, every time I try to watch an episode, I lose interest pretty fast. Maybe it was because EVERY. DAMN. KID. at my school would not SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP. about it. I don't begrudge anybody who does enjoy it, though; I can certainly see why it's appealed to so many kids. Just not me.
That show always came off to me as Family Guy for kids anytime I watched it.
Except much better writing and audience attentiveness.
Probably because Dan Povenmire, one of the creators of P&F, helped worked on Family Guy up until Season 5 as a director, writer, songwriter, and illustration director.
Comet in Moominland is one of the best animated films ever made. And I say this as someone with a passing knowledge of them, at best!

Last I heard they were working on a movie of sorts, and some female artists left the company when Lassester became the CEO. I think the movie their working on is going to a streaming format.
