Tube squirrelling away at a redemption arc-
Tweets that do not circle every topic back around to self, and replies to tumblr that aren't rude , dismissive and actual attempts to answer questions...even though, as has been pointed out; he's rusty as shit, and his answers even when “nice” suck;
this one hasnt even read the question, which pointedly says 'aside from lessons', as an adult, which i guess means someone who works and cant do his method of applying to god knows how many drama schools.
(we need more non-rich influencers who understand that not everyone can afford to just take -however many years drama school takes idk- surely not 3, which would make calling it a 'second degree' in the BTS less ridiculous?- off from their lives. )
BUT HE'S TRYING, BLESS'UM.
aside- i dont know why he really has this 'ask me a question' function. his answers are pointlessly short and un-detailed.
it would be way easier / less blue bally for his fans to just do away with it;
it might be that he likes having an open, secret avenue of communication which no one else see, so he can get a proper read on what people think of him; without twitter having to see it, etc.
I once knew a girl, who was (and still is) a ridiculous narcissist- not terribly evil with it, just utterly self interested, and does the Tube thing of relating everyone elses sucesses back to herself-
Anyway, back in the days of myspace, she had this function on her page where it was like "tell me what you think of me- send me an anonymous message'
So one day- non anonymously, just as a normal, named reply, I quite gently pointed out that she was being ridiculous narcissistic with some big post about how "people were copying her", then got a massive, needy message back asking if i was the person who had sent her a really horrible, personal message via the anonymas function.
which No, but that is obviously what is going to happen.
I said no, dont have that function available on your page, literally no one is going to say anything not awful to you that they wouldnt say under their own name.
I think the fantasy is that someone who thinks they are really cool and is too shy to say it irl will send you a gushing message? then, for the more manipulative narcs, they want a way to safely channel all the rude replies away from other eyes, as well as have a greater understanding on how they come across.
That would sort of explain both his shit non-rude answers, and his shit rude answers.
- in that its not really the purpose of the service at all.
