J sucks but JFC it’s poetically cruel of the universe for a fat acceptance nut to have a parent diagnosed with an illness that causes such vicious wasting. Like that Stephen King book where a gypsy puts a weight loss curse on a fat lawyer.

I don’t think she’ll envy her father’s weight loss, it’s not like when a healthy person loses weight and looks better. They look like hell in every way. Like sickness is coming from every pore, it’s really sad.

That fat camp is expensive, why is a pull out couch only $150 cheaper than a whole bed? Average size people are uncomfortable on sofa beds. And up to three of them sharing a single bathroom? It would be interesting to see how big the bathroom is. I look forward to the dumpster fire.

The prices were set by Corissa and the co-host.

My guess is to maximize the number of sales they make, a larger gap will make the bed seem cost prohibitive and make the couch seem too flimsy to use. I also suspect this was the organizers' idea because no campground is going to rent different parts of the same cabin to different people.

If I read it right your question about 3 people does not apply because the organizers want to maximize their profits - the bed is specifically listed as "for one person only" even though it could probably fit two mid-sized fat people so there is no way for a couple to attend without paying the full $950.

Edit: Do we have any idea how much Corissa makes? I know she almost got denied for a mortgage because of her debt but she + the other organizers must have put up a few thousand-maybe just over 10 thousand dollars to reserve those cabins.
