"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

«Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety» - Benjamin Franklin
It's not even that the fucking guy doesn't even believe in warrants he thinks cops should be able to screen everyone and anyone because they may have drugs or some shit LMAO.

I'm not sure what's so hard to understand about this. Say things were done your way.
Imagine you're a crack dealer. The police ask to search the back of your car, you tell them to fuck off and come back with a warrant. They say they will.
Now you know that they will come back with a warrant to search the back of your car. Obviously you're not just going to leave your crack supply in there, you're going to hide it somewhere else. Obviously they're never going to catch you at this rate, they're never going to prove that you're in possession of drugs. But that doesn't magically make you an innocent, law-abiding citizen, you're still a criminal who belongs behind bars.

So if you're going to restrict law enforcement in such a way where they can never investigate anything without announcing it in some way ahead of time first, why fund them in the first place? It's not like they're going to catch anyone, any retard can just outmaneuver them easily then.
Bro if you would let the cops search your house without a fucking warrant you're a retard.

Like your only response to cops should be 'fuck off, get a warrant', even if you don't have drugs, even if you think you have nothing to hide.

And amazingly, despite the fact that they have to get warrants, cops are still able to catch criminals every day in america, its wild.

Calling the Bill of Rights "obsolete" is top tier faggotry.

The police aren't omniscient, they have no way of knowing whether 'your friend' is genuinely just a law-abiding acquaintance of yours, or whether you merely call her your friend and she's actually where you get your cocaine supply from. The only way for them to find out for certain, is to search you while you're on your way to or from her
So you think it’s okay for cops to walk around and assume everyone is a criminal? That’s part of the reason we have crime problems. If cops spent less time going after people literally doing nothing and cracking down on the actual criminals we would probably have a safer society. Oh wait that would mean cops would have to put themselves into dangerous situations and actually have to risk something to get a comfy pension.

Null brought up some really good points about Ralph in Portugal and I’m genuinely interested to see if he tries to run or not. I don’t think he’ll risk flying post surgery but given how he can be pressured into doing almost anything depending on who’s talking doesn’t make me feel very confident. Will all of this impact his bowling event? He worked so hard setting it all up.

This would carry more weight if you didn't sic them on Kengle for the crime of giving you money while being Kengle.
I asked them to tell him to stop contacting me. I tried to get him to stop for 8 years. I exhausted what was available to me.

"You say you don't like society, yet you live in one. Curious." Dumb fuck.

Thanks to all the pro-servitude zombie retard niggers for detailing this thread for three pages.

"Servitude Nigger" is a great name LMAO.

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Interesting how this changes with context

SIEGEL: And what was the context of this remark?

WITTES: He was writing about a tax dispute between the Pennsylvania General Assembly and the family of the Penns, the proprietary family of the Pennsylvania colony who ruled it from afar. And the legislature was trying to tax the Penn family lands to pay for frontier defense during the French and Indian War. And the Penn family kept instructing the governor to veto. Franklin felt that this was a great affront to the ability of the legislature to govern. And so he actually meant purchase a little temporary safety very literally. The Penn family was trying to give a lump sum of money in exchange for the General Assembly's acknowledging that it did not have the authority to tax it.

SIEGEL: So far from being a pro-privacy quotation, if anything, it's a pro-taxation and pro-defense spending quotation.

WITTES: It is a quotation that defends the authority of a legislature to govern in the interests of collective security. It means, in context, not quite the opposite of what it's almost always quoted as saying but much closer to the opposite than to the thing that people think it means.

SIEGEL: Well, as you've said, it's used often in the context of surveillance and technology. And it came up in my conversation with Mr. Anderson 'cause he's part of what's called the Ben Franklin Privacy Caucus in the Virginia legislature. What do you make of the use of this quotation as a motto for something that really wasn't the sentiment Franklin had in mind?

WITTES: You know, there are all of these quotations. Think of kill all the lawyers - right? - from Shakespeare. Nobody really remembers what the characters in question were saying at that time. And maybe it doesn't matter so much what Franklin was actually trying to say because the quotation means so much to us in terms of the tension between government power and individual liberties. But I do think it is worth remembering what he was actually trying to say because the actual context is much more sensitive to the problems of real governance than the flip quotation's use is, often. And Franklin was dealing with a genuine security emergency. There were raids on these frontier towns. And he regarded the ability of a community to defend itself as the essential liberty that it would be contemptible to trade. So I don't really have a problem with people misusing the quotation, but I also think it's worth remembering what it was really about.

Weird sex shit, as Josh said in a previous MATI. Most autistic troons are coomers, so they have a weird fetish like hypnosis.
Or use the hypnosis to believe that they are real women and still in that trance.
Everytime I hear about troons and hypnosis I think of Get Out, and the way they break the hold of the hypnosis with a camera flash. Everytime I see troons, I think of that scene, and how deep and well hidden in the back of their mind, there is still a small part of them that's normal, and that is desperately trying to claw its way free.

But it can't. And probably never will without some intervention.

The stream before last included a segment about Spectre, and how he gave bad legal advice to someone and got them fucked over in court as a result. Null talked about how judges are not on anyone’s side in court, and their sympathy/helpfulness cannot be counted on even by a pro se litigant, who is supposed to be given more leeway.

I was suddenly reminded of the tale of Alex Mauer, a chiptune artist and convicted porch pirate who had an extended tranny meltdown and started claiming back ownership of every indie game soundtrack he had composed and filing DMCA claims against any youtube video that used them. He got sued by one of the game developers that he was screwing over via this stunt, hired a lawyer, fired the lawyer almost immediately over some retarded shit, then agreed to a settlement with the game dev wherein he ceased his retarded little dispute and stopped DMCA’ing the devs’ game footage and they ceased their litigation.

Alex then took to twitter to whine that the judge didn’t come to his rescue and throw out the settlement for being so obviously unfair to him, and he repeatedly called the courthouse to bitch at them until the judge put out an order saying to cut that shit out, and called him and the devs’ attorney in for another hearing. Alex didn’t show up to the hearing and hasn’t really been seen since. Lolcow retardation in court settings is usually a lot of fun to read about.

"You say you don't like society, yet you live in one. Curious." is a good description of your overall whining faggotry behaviour and fucked up double standard things you say

What was the song at the beginning of Friday's episode? The industrial metal march, not the one that makes fun of Ralph. The podcast site doesn't seem to be updated and I've been trying to figure out the name of it off and on since Alex Jones was still on youtube
