That's putting it very mildly, the English had no problems (intentionally?) starving them to death during the Great Famine and before that shipped them to the colonies to work like slaves. In fact they did work as indentured servants first but so many died from diseases in the South. Africans were found to be a much better replacement due to their inherent resistance to malaria.

On the other side of the spectrum, there are White people that pretend racism DOESN'T exist and try to whitewash history as simple patriotism without understanding the ramifications that has conspired since then.
