I was going to say that if it weren't for them backing COVID, people would be at the airport, but since the airports aren't showing it anyways, what's the difference?

Yep. This is what Leticia James1, the NY AG who got Cuomo ousted, said in triumph when her and Hoschul won the battle to keep the mask mandate:
"Wearing a mask saves lives,” James said. “The mask mandate and today’s decision will help in our efforts to fight back this virus. My office will continue to use its full authority to keep New Yorkers safe.”

See, I find this interesting because she is still there.

I mean, yes, TECHNICALLY Zucker had an affair with a subordinate. But he wasn't exactly banging the secretary. By all accounts, Gollust was basically the #2 in the entire company with Zucker there, and it looks like she's the #1 right now. So I mean, yes, technically a subordinate, but not really. And he's the only one taking the heat for whatever is happening.

This reminds me too much of them #MeTooing Cuomo just to put in Hochul, who has been much "worse" as governor. This feels like they gave him a golden parachute to make Gollust the new CEO.

If they're really afraid, they should lose weight, as it's the strongest help for anyone. And if they're not losing weight, they're not really afraid. They want to force others to wear masks or get the jab, but refuse to force themselves to put down the fork. They've had two years of staying at home to find time for weight loss. They're out of excuses to keep saying they're scared, because they don't seem to be scared enough to change their ways. And fuck this fat old cunt. If she died tomorrow she would've had a rich full life.

That's really not the point to the vast majority of people complaining. Its not about what they can do to stop it, they don't want to have to do anything more than anything else. People have already gone over the assorted ideas of social pressure and dominance and jealousy (why do you get your rights back when they did the right thing, etc) but there's another aspect. Equality.

Specifically, in the mad pursuit for equality, everyone must suffer if one must suffer. If you cannot bend reality to raise those with problems, then you must drag everyone down. It doesn't matter if masks don't help any for 99% of people, if 1% of people see some benefit from wearing masks, the other 99% must wear them too, because equality.

Yes, but you see the masks and the vaccines only work if EVERYONE takes them.

That's the saddest thing about this pandemic; the absolute irrational fear they have installed in a lot of these people. Who, let's be honest, probably weren't the most stable people in 2019. But they have absolutely convinced themselves that an evil Trump MAGA supporter will give them COVID even if they are good lil' boys and girls who do everything right.

How many "celebrities" now, especially with Omicron, have come out and said how shocked they were that they got COVID when they "did everything right." I expect it to be a glorious spazz out when Howard Stein gets COVID.

That too. Some of these people act exactly like a 5 year old tattling on their 3 year old sibling. Even with full-on "HE STARTED IT!!!"
