Not sure what all this is about, but I try to avoid hurting animals in any fashion or doing business with people who hurt animals to the best of my knowledge. I’m not a vegan, but I don’t eat dogs. Dogs are man’s best friend, and really should not be subject to any test that wouldn’t be subjected to a human. Other animals (and plants, fungi, etc.) have lesser souls to varying degrees and how far we go to protect them is not a one-size-fits-all approach. That’s just my opinion. I don’t demonize anyone who chooses to work with others in more lenient capacities.

Aside from the dog thing, the AIDS debacle was already an issue for me.

What's the issue here? Institutions can set their own rules for the public on/in land/buildings they own. You break those rules and the police get called to deal with you, simple as.
