Androgenic Alopecia in women is surprisingly common and it still caused by T but can even be triggered by the normal levels that a woman has because the hair follicle becomes hyper-sensitive and 'dies', so a woman on high dose T is very likely to trigger it and once it starts it does not stop but in some (younger) women especially it can be triggered by going on hormonal birth control. Basically all women develop it over time though it's why so many old ladies have a similar haircut.

Women can and do 'go bald like that' but it's much more devastating and socially unacceptable than when it occurs in men so they're far more likely to invest in quality wigs, learn how to wear them properly and how style them.
